This is my go-to for a pick me up early in the morning, it also helps me focus throughout the day, I am never without Odyssey

When I first saw this energy drink, I didn't consider the meaning of the "222" in the name....... grams of caffeine per can. "WOWWWWWW," I thought, "this stuff is gonna wire me to heck and back, and not in a good way". (spoiler: it didn't). I actually gave a can to my 27 year old son as my first test-- he thought the (sugar free) taste was "interesting" (and actually kind of refreshing for NOT being super sweet like most energy drinks). He drank it slowly (also under the same 222 mythology as myself), but really really enjoyed it from an energy standpoint.I decided to try one also-- and was also surprised by the taste-- it's quite different from your typical sugar-laden Red Bull or Monster. I didn't LOVE the taste, but it was OK, and since it's sugar free, I'm ok with that. Here's where I kinda started tripping out-- because I drank slowly too, but got through 3/4 of the can pretty quickly, and was NOT wired to heck (rather, pleasantly stimulated).Punchline: for whatever reason, I thought 222 grams of caffeine was the equivalent of 3 cups of coffee (it's actually closer to 2.2 in reality according to my sources). This energy drink actually seems to have just the right amount of caffeine, as well as all the other good stuff that's NOT caffeine (mushrooms, B vitamins, etc) to be a great package, even for a 1.5 cup of coffee per day over the day guy. If I'm super in need of motivation, I can drink the whole can, but if not, I can stick to 3/4 or so. For my son, half my age, a whole can would likely make him super happy energetic (actually, it did, despite him not finishing)-- so I'm heavily leaning to the side of recommending this product. A sugar free energy drink with other stuff than caffeine? HECK YEAH! The only reasons for 4 stars are, honestly, 1) the taste-- I have definitely had better sugar free drinks, and 2) the overall feeling it provides: while I felt good, and energized, it doesn't "motivate" me quite in the same way other energy supplements do. Granted, everyone's chemistry is different, so for some, this may be "primo".If you're looking for a sugar free option-- I'd recommend giving this a try. I liked it.

My grandma and I tried it out. We didn't mind it. It gave us some energy I'd say. The taste is, ehh. I would say that for some, it can be an acquired taste.

Energy from 222 mg caffeine (approx 2 -1/2 cups of coffee) and healthy benefits from Cordyceps and Lion's Mane mushrooms, combined with flavor from Pineapple and Mango juice concentrate, and green tea make this a uniquely flavored drink.I'm pretty sensitive to the "boost" from some energy drinks, that tend to give me some "jitters" too. But the Odyssey 222 Pineapple Mango energy, focus and mood drinks are good for the energy without the jitters. I found this flavor Odyssey drink to be more pleasantly flavored than some other popular brands.I'm considering trying a different flavor....or just sticking with this one because I'm happy I got it! What a great way to get healthy benefits with the added energy boost!!

First I want to talk about the caffeine content. As someone who already has a caffeine addiction who consumes on average about 200mg of caffeine per day, it's a lot. It's also a far smaller bottle at only 355ml, and 222mg of caffeine for such a small bottle is a lot. For reference, a bottle of white monster is 473ml w/ 140mg of caffeine.The taste I guess is...fine... It doesn't taste like the rivers of Chernobyl, but the flavor for the blue raspberry isn't necessarily there either. It doesn't feel to sweet which is fine, but it also doesn't taste like raspberry. It has more of a flavor spectrum towards sparkling water or white claw, but unlike those this thing doesn't have much of a fruity scent.I'm not really one to care much about the additional mushrooms like cordyceps or lion's mane, but I would really watch out about the caffeine content and I've been especially careful about it. If we factor in the price it's also a bit of a tough sell as an energy drink, at the time of this review it's $41.9 for 12 bottles. This is comparable to say vending machines for something like a Red Bull, but it's definitely on the pricier side of energy drinks. If you need something super caffeine dense in a bottle, I guess this works, but the small bottle can make consuming over 200mg of caffeine feel like a speed bump, the taste is fine and fine at best, so just be careful how much caffeine you consume if you decide to down a bottle of this.

Quality energy drink with super ingredients. This flavor is really good when the temperature of the drink is ice cold. I drank these to get me through 12 hour shifts at work and I felt focused and with plenty of energy. The best part is that there is no crash after drinking these. Huge plus in my book. I feel comfortable drinking these because of that.

I work night shift and generally stay away from energy drinks. I did give these a try and I’m pleasantly surprised. The taste is pleasant, not your typical energy syrup tasting junk. I’m pretty sensitive to energy drinks and only drink one when I really feel I need a jolt of energy to stay awake. I did drink it slowly and really never felt out of sorts, was awake all night and don’t remember being sleepy or tired throughout. I will only drink this stuff when I really feel the need, but definitely will try these again. Like the fact it’s sugar free.

Great taste and a slap of energy. With the lower calories these are great and so much better for you than the leading brands used as bars that have in the past gave me kidney stones. Love these!
