I've been a big fan of Jenna for awhile now, she's an incredibly talented young woman with a bright future. I have heard in interviews her talk about her struggles and insecurities and when I learned about this book I knew I needed to get it to learn more. It not only gives us glimpses into her life and what she's really like, but also sheds light on her fears, goals, beliefs, struggles, etc. It also offers sound advice and healthy inspiration for anyone of any age. It's hard to believe she wrote this when she only 16, to say she is wise beyond her years is an understatement.The book itself is a easy read, not wordy or lecturey and covers relatable topics. Her faith, family and stories about her overcoming struggles were the most captivating for me and it all drives home the fact that at the end of the day she really is just a normal girl who decided to get into the crazy business that is Hollywood.As a side note, at 21 she's done so much more since the book released and it seems the skies the limit for her.

As a writer and creative myself, I must say, this is a great compilation of inspirational excerpts from a very gifted and talented young woman. I have been a fan of Jenna’s, as an actress, since 2020 when I saw her film, “The Fallout.” Her talent radiated on screen but after reading her book, I discovered that her gifts flow from so many other creative avenues as well. She articulates her natural assurance of life’s many ups and downs extremely well and this book draws inspiration from personal experiences, which I absolutely love. She wrote this book in a way that the reader would feel comfortable being vulnerable by allowing herself to be vulnerable through her writing. She talks about personal experiences that have shaped and molded her into the woman she is today and I learned quite a bit about her as a person. Knowing that she wrote this book at 17 only further confirms how much talent she possesses. Anyone that is looking for inspiration or motivation should definitely consider this book. I read the book in its entirety in an hour because I simple couldn't put it down. I recommend this book to people of all ages; everyone can benefit from the advice Jenna offers. So excited for her future and I can’t wait to watch her continue to grow in her career!

In this very readable collection of brief and often very personal anecdotes and observations, Ms. Ortega has given us both an insight into the kind of person she is and aspires to be, as well as a tome of reminders on what really matters and how to live Your best life - not someone else’s. She offers not preachy rules but encouraging ideas, told through her own very interesting and often amazing experiences. I highly recommend this book for anyone looking for practical messages of positivity and hope - you will not be disappointed. Ms. Ortega sounds wise beyond her years, and I have no doubt she will continue to do great things in her life and career with all that talent and heart.

This is a must read for everyone, young and old. Jenna Ortega's candid honesty about managing insecurities and learning from her mistakes are told as if she is speaking directly to you, the reader. I wish I had this book growing up. Your mom can say the same things. But if you are told them by someone your age in the trenches, the words hit differently. I appreciate how Jenna references her faith, and how she's relied on it when things seem dark. She rejoices in her family and her success. But she reminds us that if we don't take risks, we don't grow. It's okay to be disappointed. It's okay to have bad days. But be kind to yourself. If I could, I'd give everyone a copy of this book. The wisdom here is timeless.

Great book for anyone looking to have a relatable read. It's not a memoir, so don't get that confused. Its a series of small passages that pertain to well-selected, empowering prompts.

Book is great, fast to read and gives you another look not only into Jenna Ortega point of view in life, but also teaches you about compassion, love, the way to treat others, friendship and somethings that I value for my life.
