None of it feels rushed though.On the cover is Okita lyring down, that is why it is horizontal but the content inside is normal. On the spine and the back is Hijikata with a cigarette! Sorachi-sensei was complaining that he wasn't allowed to have Hijikata smoking on the cover of volume 8 but it seems like having him smoke on the back and on the spine is acceptable. I'm sure he is happy about that :) (unless it's a lollipop with smoke coming out of it, yes, I'm sure that's what it is)
