Thetis Pro FIDO2 Security Key, Two-Factor authentication NFC Security Key & FIDO2 Security Key [Folding Design] Universal Two Factor Authentication USB (Type A)

Great key, easy to use. Only problem is the USB-C doesn't stay in place so I've had to hold it in place during use.

Well, I underestimated the size of this key when I ordered it. It is pretty huge even before you factor in the added size of the protective case that they do ship with it on the box. To be fair the case does seem rather nice. I would compare the experience to having an entire lighter hanging off of your keychain.The second issue that I did not notice when ordering is it is listed is that the key does have a physically clickable button instead of capacitive button. While clicking the button is pretty satisfying, I have some intuitive concerns regarding the longetivity of the device as it has a mechanical button. In my experience mechanical components are suspicious and the button on the key I received had a distinct rocking orientation. The capacitive button on my Titan Key, Yubikey, and GoTrust Idem Key do feel like they won't experience wear and tear.Speaking of wear and tear the body of the key itself inside the holder that allows it to swivel doesn't appear to be very solid. It is translucent and seems to be assembled rather than molded around the hardware. Yubikeys and GoTrust Idem Keys both appear to be injection molded. I do feel like I could more easily physically infiltrate the interior of this key than the Yubikey and GoTrust Idem Key that I have.There doesn't really seem to be an Android app available for this device but that's okay as I don't really feel the need for one. I did have concerns that it took me two attempts to register this key with an account. It could be due to a combination of the massive physical structure of the key and my phone's case but I'm not really willing to roll the dice on which one it was.I did briefly consider hanging onto this key as something that I could setup and use as a backup, but as I do already like Yubikeys and the GoTrust Idem Key C that I have I've elected to return it. I'd rather get one of the other sturdier yet also smaller keys as a backup as prices for the basic keys are pretty much on par with one another. If this key had an more secure feeling body and wasn't so massive I likely would have kept it. On the other hand nothing about this experience or the company's reputation has ruled them out for future use. It's mostly the physical attributes of the product that have put me off.

It's a good passkey security key. Has both USB A/C connectors so it's convenient but also makes it bulky.It worked fine with Google, MS and other sites that have passkey support

I work in the cybersecurity field and just wanted an inexpensive FIDO key to develop some software against, and strictly as a FIDO2 key this does pretty well. It goes well above the standard feature set required by the FIDO2 alliance for FIDO 2.1, and even has a decent number of resident identity slots (50 total) as well as double the minimum required largeBlob size, which depending on your use case might be useful for something like certificate chains.Sadly, it doesn't support Ed25519 keys (though the spec doesn't require that) as the only algorithm it appears to support is EDSA. Not a huge loss, but something worth noting if you do require that. It does appear that the outer clip is aluminum which I checked by scratching off some of the paint, but the key still doesn't feel very rugged. I feel as though if it were dropped, the clip would spring open just enough that the middle would pop out. I would feel more comfortable with it if the USB-A end was just the fingers as the metal USB sheath could be prone to bending and thus making it hard to insert. And the inner casing, which is all plastic, has a visible seam, which may make this susceptible to water damage.

Learning curve was a killer. Hence the 4stars. Set it up on new android phone using Gmail account. Another website that I desperately needed this for would not recognize this Thetis devise as "me". Decided to try logging in on old phone using browser which worked as a wifi only smart-(er than me)-phone; as old phone's service was discontinued....Got in that way just fine.

La he utilizado con google, paypal y binance y no he tenido ninguna queja, funciona tanto para pc como para celular, y el ncf trabaja correctamente, sin dudas la recomiendo.

Don't lose it makes it very handy for our extra backup that you can put in your safe that you know no one can hack your account or feel better that it'll be less hackable

It was easy to set but with some minor technic due to my know-how, but otherwise I likes it!

Leider kann der Key kein FIDO L2 und ist damit ungeeignet sich als Person gegenüber dem Amt auszuweisen. Billiger wäre der YubiKey noch dazu.

Not as great as a Yubikey but it functions well for the price. NFC can be rather hit and miss, mostly miss!

Wird gut erkannt von geräten , smartphones erkennen Schlüssel als Tastatur.
