I was very pleased with this purchase

For the price you get 12 of what looks to be U.S. marines in gulf war uniforms. The printing has a very nice look on the figures and this large amount of mini figures was easily assembled in 10 minutes. Even with all these mini figures you are left with 2 EOD suits and 2 gillie suits which you can put on any other figures you may have. The mini figures included are not lego and their belts do not fit normal lego figures. With all things considered this is a great value and you get more than what you pay for.

To start off, I should say that I am an AFOL - An Adult Fan of LEGO. And I am a LEGO purist. I do not buy knock-off, non-LEGO "compatible" building block toys. But I do understand that not everyone can afford genuine LEGO products. And to its credit, this Amazon listing did clearly say that it was "Compatible with Major Mini Figure [sic]." So I am going to review it as it is, and not deduct points because it is not a genuine LEGO product.In recent years the non-LEGO building brick toy makers have stepped up their game in terms of quality. The plastic used in this set looks and feels the same as or very close to what the LEGO company uses. So kudos for that.The LEGO company has a policy about not making sets based on war machines. So they do not make sets with tanks, fighter planes, or other modern weapons. But this policy is a bit fuzzy, because they do make guns for minifigures - pistols, hunting rifles, and the like. But LEGO does _not_ make assault rifles, mortars, RPGs, high-cal machine guns, or other modern military items. It's a bit weird, but that's LEGO and they can do what they like.THIS set of "compatible" parts is having none of that. There are various types of assault rifles. And military-issued pistols. And Uzis. And mortars, machine guns, tactical vests, tactical belts, and even special camouflage clothing for snipers. And there is a lot of it. So. Many. Guns. If you want military minifigures, this scratches that itch and then some. There are even a couple of outfits for training military working dogs.What's really surprising is that I received more than this Amazon listing showed. I thought I would have to supply my own minifigures to attach this military gear to. But it comes with a full DOZEN minifigures! So you have everything you need to play army or set up a static diorama.One thing of note is that the included minifigures are not 100% compatible with LEGO minifigures. Genuine LEGO legs do not fit these minifigs (see second picture). On the other hand, these minifigs can twist at the waist! Real LEGO minifigs must just stand facing straight forward (see third picture). This is quite an innovation, actually. LEGO ought to consider doing this as well. (If they did, the new minifigs would not be backward compatible with the old legs, but LEGO has changed up their minis before.)So in summary, you get a dozen minifigures, more military hardware than all of them together can hold at once, and they can actually look left and right to see if there's an enemy trying to sneak up on them. I just need to start off by saying wow! This collection of weaponry and accessories that is compatible with lego and other similar figures is just beyond awesome. I am Uber the age of 50 and I was beyond excited once I opened up this package to see all the variety of things that can be compatible with my lego figures and other figures. I also have an order to be able to play with my grandson and to be able. To have nice war action fun time with our legos. I highly suggest you getting this if you're into collecting plane. You have miners and I would have loved to receive a gift like this when I was a child as a still excites me to this day. The pieces have been put through the grind with my grandson and myself and they seem to be pretty durable and hold up to a lot of fighting and a lot of play. Therefore, I expect these to last a long time just like any other small toys, you gotta make sure that you pick up and clean up to make sure you have them all. And my grandson is 8 years old. I would just be a little caution because of their size to use them. Probably any kid under the age of 5. Besides that, I would definitely purchase and purchase over and over again. And products like this in order to have fun and have a nice big collection!

The forward fireteam may choose their loadout from a broad inventory of US standard small arms as well as virtually every variant of modern mass-produced small arms.One notable feature of this platoon is the inclusion of two fully outfitted EOD's and two fully outfitted recon operators.This force and its equipment is compatible with the most widely available style of brick. Take note, however, that the minifigures are not cross compatible. These minifigures are able to pivot at the hips, which is neat, but doesn't hold as well and, as I mentioned, are not compatible with conventional brick minifigures.This set is what I dreamed of as a kid and the attention to detail is remarkable. I deducted one star because the minifigures tend to slide apart when you outfit them with their full set of gear. This is a good set for stationary 'scenes' and not so much active play.If you have a taste for this sort of unconventional style of brick sets then this one is absolutely worth getting.
