SAMSUNG WASHING MACHINE DRAIN PUMP

A remarkablely low priced part that works just as well as one costing literally five-times the price.Very easy to fit. Lower disconnected (water waste and electricity) washing machine onto it's back (two-person job).1) Remove Base cover2) Remove filter screwed from front.3. Remove and clean smallbore black rubber drain pipe and inlet from big bore hole. It has a easy squeeze metal clamp.Usually blocks with tiny fragments preventing draining.4) Remove three (3) pozidrive screws that hold pump motor to Base. Note wiring connections and remove.5) Clean inside O-ring seat with soft cloth6) Offer new pump to Base and "feel-in" the three stainless screws. Tighten sequentially bit at a time until all tight. Refit wiring connections.7) Refit and locate small-bore black drain pipe, making sure it comes out of front plate and refit and lock white bung.8. At this point turn on electric close door (if open) turn on and switch to "drain". If pump spins ok, turn off from mains and refit Base cover.9) turn machine upright (two-person job) and refit water drain and electricity plug.10) congratulations: you just saved yourself at least £100.00

This was a suitable replacement for my 10 yrd old samsung washer dryer. It was straight forward to replace and machine is now working better than before. It will also buy time before I get a replacement machine. Very pleased.
