FAIRY TAIL Zero (FAIRY TAIL ZERO GN) Paperback – 26 July 2016

I'm a huge Fairy Tail fan and I'm making my way through the manga after having watched the anime.I still haven't watched the anime version of this yet, but I just reached the right volume in Fairy Tail that means I can read this without spoiling myself and I really enjoyed it!I really like Mavis and I've been itching to see how she created Fairy Tail and see her back story and omg the twist with Zeref! Definitely a must read!

Fairy Tail Zero is one of my favourite story arcs as a fan of Fairy Tail, but I think it stands on its own too. It's a very sweet story about friendship and adventure.There's a slight misprint on page 261 - one of the years should be 785 not 697, but it's not a major thing.

Very satisfying story about the origination of the Fairy Tail Guild and the story of the first leader Mavis. This is the complete spin-off in one volume. A really sweet story that reads fast and even though I'm not too far into the main Fairy Tail series perfectly understandable. Can certainly be read as a prequel as Mavis doesn't return until Volume 53. For those who are more current with the series, they will probably appreciate it even more. Lovely story!

My partner is a fan of Fairytail, and he enjoyed this. Definitely worth reading the prequel.

Hiro Mashima consegue, como consegue por várias vezes em fairy tail, surpreender e o quão grata surpresa é esse spin-off feito pelo mesmo. A história narra a criação da fairy tail e fala um pouco acerca da sua fundadora, Marvis Vermilion. História conta com um desenvolvimento de personagens digamos muito bom, desenvolvimento da trama em si interessante e com pleno sentido com o inicio desse spin-off e um final que pega de surpresa. Outro ponto a se destacar é o quanto toda essa história é bem feita e sendo feita também para aquela pessoa que nunca leu fairy tail e também sem fazer quase nenhum apelo à história do mangá de fairy tail. Super recomendado.Ps. Qualidade em termos de papel, diagramação e tradução impecáveis por parte da JBC
