Not blue but otherwise great alternative to TushBaby
Ordered the Z Blue, definitely received a black and gold carrier. I am wearing a black shirt in the photo. Bummer about the color, would have made a different choice but making an errand to return newly postpartum is not worth the hassle.Color aside, I am excited for this carrier. It compares well to the Tush Baby but for 1/4 the cost when you factor in the harness piece! The hip support will take pressure off of arms/back when holding little ones, I like that the harness is detachable, several storage pockets seem convenient. The fabric feels nice and the mesh is soft.I anticipate we will use this a lot, our baby is currently only 4 weeks and I can see this being useful well into toddlerhoodUpdate: I came back to upgrade this from 4 to 5 stars. Our little one is 7 weeks and my shoulders have been on fire from carrying her or using soft wraps. Pulled this out yesterday and today, wearing her in front facing my body, sooooo comfy for me! And she's fallen fast asleep for some contact naps. The belt takes most of the weight through the hips like I expected. Already planning to use this when the stroller isn't feasible out and about.Have recommended to several friends

Comfortable and baby loved it!
I’ve gone through 2 baby carriers and they were okay but this one beat all of them. My baby loves being carried all the time. So I got a regular baby carrier but that really hurt my back I then got the waist carrier it was good but I would like to have the option to be hands free. That’s why I love how this one has both options and it’s actually better on my back than the other 2 I have. I got the light grey really pretty and great soft quality for the baby to be in. 👍🏻

This is a life saver !
I bought this hip carrier to try and give my back a rest while carrying my Grandson around. IT WORKED !It comes on and off easily, adjusts easily too. I am a bigger person ( size 18 jeans) and it fil around me just fine. I had bought an extender with it, but didn't need it after all.I'm in my late 50's and carrying around a 2 year old was killing my back. This did the trick. you can even slide it from side to side if one hip gets tired.I would buy this again 100 times over. Thanks,Kim

good purchase
I bought this because the Ergo baby carrier was cutting off at my babies neck at all ages from NB to 1yr so I decided to try a different carrier and since he was getting heavier, I thought the seat would be good. Positives: Ended up working out very well, the seat does provide much needed support, my baby's overall comfort seems better in this carrier than the other one we have and the seat is detachable so you have the option to use the carrier as a normal carrier. Negatives: super bulky for travel bc of the seat so doesn't fold well and still a little confusing (like all carriers IMO) with so many straps. Overall recommend.

Game changer!!
The media could not be loaded. I have tried baby wearing by wrapping her around me, I’ve tried the backpack looking carriers, and both are very uncomfortable! I admit that wrapping her around me was nice during winter and still a newborn but it would’ve been inconvenient during the hotter weather! And the backpack carries just hurt my back. This hip seat carrier makes her feel so light and it’s so comfortable for both her and I! I love it so much and I appreciate that I will get good use out of it since it holds up to 60+ pounds :)

after testing out of 12 similarly priced carriers this one is just so-so
I wanted to get a hip belt seat for carrying my baby, even just wearing around the house, so as to lessen the strains on my hip and arms when taking baby from room to room and so forth. There are so many options on Amazon, and so many with similar price range and ratings, that I decided to test out a variety. I got 12 options to try - All have hip belt option functionality, but they differ in that some also had a supportive shoulder strap for mom, some have added "seatbelt" for baby, some had option to become full-body/hands-free baby carriers, some had more pockets than others etc.I compared them based on look and feel of materials quality; buckle, strap, velcro and zipper quality and function; pocket functionality/practicality; comfort of wearing the belt/harness; comfort for baby (i.e. hip seat padding etc); ease of getting the belt/harness on and off and ease of getting baby in and out of it. The 12 I tested were from the following brands: Sunevo, BabyMust, Cloud Mom Inc., Gabesy, Bebamour, Zooawa, N++A, Tico, DaDa, Talenbeen,Mumgaroo, and Growns. In the end, the one I decided to keep was by brand Bebamour. But here is my review for this belt...MOMIDEAL / a.k.a "Growns" full carrier with hip seatThe fabric is nice. The zippers are metal and feel quality but are thin enough that they don't create much resistance when trying to open and close the side pocket. The side pocket is larger than the Bebamour. It does have a flap that can open and give supposedly an air vent on the baby's chest or back, but the mesh seems so thick, since it's doubled up, that it hardly would make a difference. The hip seat is a foam block which is more comfortable for the wearer The big downsides are that it's straps are seat belt material that is super slick, which means the straps could slip. It also has the internal sling flap thing for the baby to sit in (as the Tico and Talenbeen had) which just creates the extra pain in the butt element of trying to get baby in and out of it, especially without assistance. Also the sun shade hooks to clips that are trickier to use while it's on you.

Saved me, big time!
I love this carrier! It keeps me close with my little when she needs me and it doesn’t agitate my arthritis at all. It has completely changed the holding game. I can hold her and not feel like I’m at risk for dropping her, because my hands can’t take it. She loves it, it keeps her upright so she can see everything around her. It is also secure, the Velcro is strong, and then as an added measure there is a safety clip. Even though it’s super secure it’s still easy to put on. There is a good amount of storage in it too, I haven’t even been able to fill all the pockets, it’s big enough to store a couple spare diapers and a travel wipe in the big pocket. I have recommended this product to anyone that will listen to me. It’s AMAZING
