We have a large cabinet style pantry that has upper and lower large doors that is probably a bit heavy for the hinges as they tore out of the hole in a short amount of time. I attempted to fix them a few times but always ended up falling out. I bought these and screwed them to the door and the plates holds the hinge in nicely. Have only needed to use the "cup" side on the door, haven't needed to use the plate for the hinge that attaches to the body of the cabinet yet.

The plates themselves seem fine. But the kit does not include screws to attach the hinge to the plate. Without those, it's essentially useless unless you have the right screws lying around, which I certainly did not. The screws originally used to attach a hinge directly to wood are not the right size. Other similar kits (including ones avail on Amazon) do have those screws, and I ended up returning this and getting one of those.
