Texas Chainsaw Massacre: The Next Generation [Blu-ray]

The media could not be loaded. 87m 11s according to our very own BBFC rating system in regards to this bluray, so not the theatrical runtime the description will have you believe; even the runtime on the packaging is incorrect (Confirmed in my video). The German release I have is also 87 minutes, so yes this is the uncut version. The US has 87 minutes and a 95 minute original version (although that’s technically not the uncut version).This release has considerably more grain than my German release, I guess it’s from a different print; personally don’t know which I prefer now, as the grain adds that raw feel like the original film.The movie itself is probably worse than 1-3, but if you can appreciate it for a gritty and cheesy sequel to part 1 then it works kinda. The only continuity error with Leatherface is that he has perfect teeth, now compare that to the original it doesn’t make sense, unless A. It’s a new Leatherface, or B. he now wears dentures. There’s a nice cameo near the end that ties it to the first film perfectly.Highly recommend if you’re a completionist, especially now we have a region B release with English packaging too.

Underrated cult sequel featuring two stars who would later achieve great success. It is disappointing that the Blu-ray release does not include any extras, especially considering that Shout Factory added a lot of bonus content for their release. I was hoping for new interviews, audio commentary, and even a documentary about the underrated black sheep of the Chainsaw franchise. In my opinion, it is the best sequel to the original due to its sheer insanity and being directed by Kim Henkel, the writer of the original film.

This film follows the plot of the original Texas Chainsaw Massacre , film that they made in the early 1970s, where you have this family kidnapping people from American roads and bringing them to there house and doing all kinds of stuff to them. This is a newer version of that with more blood and guts scenes in it especially with this one being a 19990s film with a much younger cast.

Is the UK release cut compared to the already released US version...?Run time 1 hour and 23 minutes.
