The magnification is great and the light is perfect. It is easy to handle and is not too weighty.

It seems like the print on labels is getting smaller and smaller, so this magnifier is really handy. The big lens is large enough to be useful for printed pages, without being heavy or inconveniently large. The small lens has very short focal length, and works best when laid on the surface being looked at. There are three LEDS, which produce adequate light for most things. It uses 3 AAA batteries (not included), which should last a good while. The optical quality of the lenses is good, given they are simple lenses. For the money, a useful item to have in the house.

Particularly for older eyes, this works well for that tiny print re medical prescription. No more squinting or blurring.Lightweight and very comfortable even for large hands. Definitely worth the cost.

A decent hand/held magnifier with built-in light, which is very useful. The battery cover is easily dislodged, but a piece of tape or a rubber band takes care of the problem.

I purchased this magnifying glass for my mom. She was in need of a new one that was more powerful than the one that she had been using. She likes it and asked me to order another one for her. The lights are a nice feature and help make it easier to see what you are looking at.

I spent $40 on a magnifying glass where the battery cover flied out (still can't find it). This one is no different, there's a long strip in there that I had to cut with scissors because it otherwise stuck out and made the cover difficult to close. It feels hefty but works well, mostly for reading directions on packages. The 40x I really don't see use for because the lens to read correctly is on the side where the light is. I would have just removed that all together or flipped it so it I can use the light. Still for $9 it's a good solid buy.

This magnifying glass is exactly what I was looking for. It's just the right size and the LED light makes it even better. I would highly recommend this product.
