This controller does not play part in any smart house cloud offerings, so it is easy to get up and running and does not require you to setup any accounts or sign up for any services. Scan the QR code, install the app, the app will find the controller via Bluetooth once it's turned on.This will work with LEDs from 5V to 24V (make sure to get the matching power supply). Hooking up the LED strip(s) can get a little fiddly - but it comes with a small screw driver for the terminals. Mostly, just match up the markings on the LEDs to the markings on the controller. Final step before you can start playing with light and color is to tell the app what kind of LED strip you have attached. After that, the interface in the app will adjust to the capabilities of your LEDs and let you play to your heart's content.I have used this with addressable RGB strips, straight RGB and RGBCCT, and they all work great.

How do you power it? Who knows, it doesn't come with a power plug. But it does work once you get a power supply. Would be nice to include a a plug so you can at least hook it up to a battery.

The media could not be loaded.  Since I wanted a custom and unique desk, I made one using this receiver. Still in the works but the receiver is amazing! Great receiver with different and unique functions that other brands don’t have!App was easy to setup and use! Just make sure to have 2.4gh network

Worked fine, but led strips stopped working after a couple months. Too late to return. Waste of money, and no customer support. Cheap Chinese garbage.

It works but is a hassle to use the app. Almost every time I want to adjust the lights, it's necessary to open the app, find the correct Bluetooth device from the list, connect via Bluetooth, enter the app control screen, and then adjust the lights. I'm thinking of replacing this controller with one that has a dedicated remote.The controller also needed to be assembled, and the included diagram is incorrect. The correct instructions are in the online product description. It's necessary to connect the wires to the correct terminals.

WARNING!This control unit is allowing Power-Bleed when powered OFF by the button on the back of unit.The lights turn off, but the light strip continues to get hotter over time, these items are a FIRE HAZZARD!The remote control works good, the lights are very nice and bright, yet dimmable with many other settings available.THIS REVIEW is for: SP611E & SP630E Addressable controllers. I purchased multiple of these to control my PAUTIX RGB Smart IC COB LED Strip Light with smart IC 24ft. The required power supply is also a separate purchase, and requires one per 24ft strip and controller, and its a large 'brick' type because the lights require 24V 5A power.
