Worked great. Made a clean cut and job much quicker.

I have only used this for a day but I cut several 1.5 sch PVC pipes and it made my life so much easier. It doesn't take a lot of force because it cuts so well. I was going to use a sawzall but this was so much easier.

Item works as designed and described. This is a great alterative for the same tool that HD sold, for half he price.

Makes very clean cuts through 1-1/2 ABS pipe like a hot knife through butter, without the mess! Took a few tries to figure out how to get the blade to completely open after my first trial cut. You just need to gently pull the handles apart to release the ratchet. Local hardware stores didn’t have a cutter for this size so they lose and Amazon wins, which means I win too !

I have been using a hacksaw and jigsaw to cut PVC pipe. Someone at Lowe's took pity on me when I needed to buy a 10' piece but only 8' would fit in my car. He cut it for me with one of these and I was sold. I have since cut several chunks for various purposes and bought another piece tonight that will need to be in 7" lengths. I have significant arthritis in my hands but have NO trouble using this cutter. Not only is this EASY, it makes great cuts that are smooth and I don't have little curls of PVC material all over the garage and in my hair when I am done. Wish I would have had one of these a long, long time ago as it could have come in very handy for dozens of projects. BUY IT. You won't regret that choice!
