The product is well made and can see the benefits for many Volkswagen vehicles.If like me you have a three door MK7 Golf GTI then you are probably best not to buy. If you look at the way that the item connects to the seat by the two points at the bottom, attached to the head restraint pillars. The hanger is then above the connection point which sets the hanger pretty high up. When you have a suit jacket on the hanger and have to move the front seat to allow a passenger into the rear of the car, or remove an item from the back, the suit jacket collar rubs on the roof lining. This can be avoided by having the driver seat on the lowest possible setting but you should not have to alter your optimum driving position to accomdate a coat hanger.I imagine that this will be a problem with other 3 door VW vehicles such as the EOS and Polo.If you drive a four or five door vehicle this will be a good purchase as is well made.I have downgraded my scoring as is not suitable for my vehicle but this is not advised in the detail. This hanger is available as a dealer fit option for the 3 door golf so I do not blame the seller for the omission of this detail and have added the note to assist any potential buyers with three door cars - ie ones where the front seat has to tilt forwards.
