Great product! Does exactly what I need day or night; rain, snow or shine!
Great product! Does exactly what I need day or night; rain, snow or shine! I was purposely looking for a metal PoE HD camera that came in black to be mounted on my dark wood pergola on my patio. This fit the bill perfectly. It's been over a year now and it's still works great, made of high quality material. Because of the black on walnut stained and compact design, no one even notices that it is there and yet it covers the entire back side of my house (45 ft and beyond). I would definitely buy this product again and recommend to others.

Firmware Out-of-Date
I can only access the configuration for this camera using Internet Explorer. It does not have a plugin that seems to work in any modern browsers. I called support and was told that "all IP cameras require Internet Explorer to connect to the config." This is not true. I have some much older GW Security cameras that have updated firmware and work without any additional "plugin" in modern browsers. Then I was told that all firmware updates have to be done through an NVR. Wrong again, because if that's the case, why would the web interface even have a location for f/w upgrades? Maybe Lorex should hire someone in tech support who knows what they're talking about.

Not A Bad Camera
This camera is great but you get 15 fps @ 4K which I think kinda sucks. I did read it in the description but purchased anyway because wireless cameras are not secure and I've had a bad experience with amcrest..... Lorex is worth it so don't hesitate and buy.

Been Using for ~1 year now and happy with the camera
Using this camera to cover our front yard, recording to a Synology storage NAS. Plenty of options to adjust the motion detection fields, setting schedules for continuous recording or motion activated recording. The price is definitely right for this camera, i will be replacing a camera in my back yard with one like this in the near future.

Great camera
I have a few cameras that I run with the blue iris software. I like the setup. I bought this camera to get more FPS at night. Otherwise you can’t make out people’s faces as they walk by. Too blurry. This camera works well at night. Don’t expect super crisp and some light helps, but for security it works for me. I also like the wider angle. I’m able to cover the front of my house with two cameras.

You need a 12volt power supply.
Great quality camera. I’m using it with the Lorex ultra 4K nvr. The color night vision is a huge advantage over the typical black and white night vision.

Very bad/terrible assistance
After 3 months having the system on, lorex decided to change the software and I lost the acess to the system. After more than three weeks of my complain I got a ridiculous answer stating that they were waiting some work on my end to finish the process.I did not get any instructions from them before. I am in europe and the system in asia and i have no acess at all to my system after they changed their useless aplication...This is the superb assistance of LOREX

Night vision is great
It is a very clear picture and I love the night vision. We had to get this one to replace a camera that went out right after the warranty expired.
