The razor is supplied in a nice looking pouch, which sets expectations. The razor is painted black and looks good (although how long the paint will last is unknown).It feels very light to hold, but it is not a full-blade straight razor so that can be expected.The instructions state that the blade to be used is a 'double-edge' razor blade, that is snapped in half whilst in the paper wrapper. However (and this may vary depending on the brand of blade), by snapping the blade, it leaves 'hooks' where the blade snaps which will not fit into the blade holder.So, I purchased a pack of 'single-edge' razor blades as the issue with the hooks and snapping blades should be negated.When I undertook an attempt to install the single-edge blade, it is apprent that one end of the holder has sufficient space to accept the blade but the other end does not. No matter how much squeezing on the back edge of the holder to open the blade slot, a blade could still not be inserted. Trying to slide the blade in from the side did not work either.Update - I managed to prise the blade holder apart using a small screwdriver, which broke the seal of weld/paint that was holding the blade holder together. The blade holder still has an eneven gap, but the leaves can now be pulled apart enough to allow a 'single-edge' blade to be inserted.

I have yet to try the actual razoring myself but having unboxed it and taken a good look at its construction, it os easy to install a razor and comes with a stunning wooden handle and powder coated paint on the metal razor arm.It came well packaged but without any actual razor bladesbut that is not a problem as these can be sourced from most superstores or pharmacies.

There a no blades in there what can I do with razor without blades.

Just what I was looking for. Excellent quality in my opinion. Easy to load and unload blades. The leather storage pouch is excellent as well. Very satisfied with purchase.
