A good resource for what can be done with the tools and leather for the beginner. This book helps you decide if you want to get into carving, stamping, and hand sewing leather for fun and profit. This craft, like everything, can be expensive but very rewarding. This book helped me decide to continue my own leather working journey that I started years ago because I collect guns and was looking for ways to make holsters that I wanted, not just what was available.

This would be the second suggestion book for leather crafting. This book has a few leather patterns but it goes more in depth of how to create leather gifts. It's basic information but it is a great start in learning.

My husband does a lot of leather work and is always looking for new projects, and this book has a lot. He would recomend this book to anyone that is into leather work or just getting their feet wet. a really great book.

I thought I was getting two different instruction books but it's the same book twice so f****** lame

I own both this one and "Get Started in Leathercrafting". You could actually not buy the other because this has a lot of the same info here. It seems a bit more spaced out in the other book so maybe better for the rank beginner (which is when I bought the other book). This one goes into some things but best is patterns and talking of how to change sizes. I need the patterns to start taking it to the next step. Would suggest it for clever beginner to get more tooling and project patterns for reasonable price.
