From day 1 (after being fully charged), the battery life is terrible.Today, day 5, I unplugged my fully charged phone, made a phone call, & talked for 16 minutes.When I hung up, the battery level was 85%.I realize settings affect battery run time. Brightness 50%, battery optimized, no background apps running (or asleep), etc..That is far worse than my original Samsung Galaxy S9 3,000 mAh battery ever was.Proclaiming this as an upgrade, high capacity, or long life replacement is a scam.

I've owned Samsung Galaxy cell phones for a few years. Began with an S5 that worked 4 years then the Samsung OEM battery exploded and broke the touch screen glass. I then bought a Samsung Galaxy S9 and the Samsung OEM battery again exploded but I caught it before it broke the touch screen. I ordered the 5300mAh for Samsung Galaxy S9 Battery Replacement Battery from DDONG. This battery arrived a few days later along with Repair Tools. The kit did not include instructions so I searched for installation instructions using You Tube. Following the video, I was able to remove the battery from the case because the explosion kind of did that work for me. I used the double side thin tape to secure the replacement battery to case and connected the wire. After I snapped the case back together, it all worked great. For $17 I have a back up phone that holds a charge for 3 days and longer if I turn it off. It is recommended to fully drain and fully charge the Galaxy S9 battery especially during the first 3 charging and discharging cycles, doing so may greatly improve the overall life of the battery. Its full performance and longevity is only achieved after 3 to 5 complete charge and discharge cycles. I think this replacement battery is worth every penny and I give it 5 stars for performance.
