AC Infinity Self-Watering Fabric Pot Base, 4-Pack Auto-Irrigation Water

Great product the wick system is very nice and feeds the water to plant at a slow a coincident pace which we want as growers. The only draw back for me was I am using organic feed for my plants and sadly the both don't work to well together. I would love to use these with living soil and just PH water. Might have to try that.

I'm hoping these are great for growing tomatoes in the greenhouse. I've installed a solar powered irrigation system, and have the dripper going in directly to the base reservoir. This way any excess water runs off, but the soil in the air pruning bags are maintaining the perfect moisture level for the fruit and veg growing in them. The tomatoes seem very happy and I can leave them for a week or two, so it's less tying, so I really like these and will see how they do through the growing season.

This basically combines all the advantages of growing in soil with most of the advantages of growing hydroponically without any of the disadvantages. Create the right biome in your soil and you don’t need to monitor your nutrient solution ever again. It also creates a couple of new advantages in the process; for example, you can monitor how much the plants drink because they won’t drink more than they need, which I’ve found was the most accurate way to determine when they’re ready for harvest (they very obviously reduce their intake when they’re ready). I can’t remember the last time I saw a fungus gnat either. I have eight of these and they’re amazing; this is honestly the best thing I’ve done to my little garden. I’ve compared the way I use these to soil, coco, and hydro. This is the second-cheapest, easiest, lowest-maintenance, most reliable, and highest-yielding of the four strategies. The only (minor) issue is that the float that indicates level often gets stuck in the up position, which can be fixed by adding a bit of weight to it.
