It was an easy install with different hardware to mount to my metal desk. I love the ability to position the arms in almost any direction or orientation. It holds the phone and tablet secure and doesn't vibrate when you tap on the screen. When not in use it folds away perfectly and out of the way. The padded feet on the mount makes the fit to the phone or the tablet snug but not impossible to remove one handed as well as adjustability within the mount itself. Overall I feel the build quality is great too just so long as you re reasonable with how you handle it. I have similar mounts like this in my Jeep that are over a hundred bucks but those are also rated for the trail. These mounts for my devices to be within arms reach while I work or game are perfect for what I need and at an affordable price.

I was a bit concerned with the low price, but it has held my GPS tablet secure in my SxS through about 800 miles of XC racing, and about that many of general trail riding.

I like this product and it will work well...for most people. When looking at this on the Amazon site, I couldn't find the size ball used to couple the pieces. From the photos, I guesstimated that this was a typical 1" style RAM ball mount. Unfortunately, this is not the case. It's smaller, about 3/4 inch or so. Also, the screw in the center arm is designed so you can't loosen the ball sockets enough to separate the parts. Again, for most people this would be an advantage. However, in my application, my vehicle has been set up with RAM 1" ball mounts for several ham radios, cell phones, TPMS for the trailer, and a tablet computer for navigation on road trips. I like the product but highly recommend putting some more details in the description to prevent others from making a similar mistake.

Fits iPad 13 pro but feels very flimsy. Smaller ball than Ram 1” size. I would not trust it unless on a stable surface like a desk mount

This product was spot on, I searched for the right mount for to go in my husband commercial truck. Which I came across this heavy duty drill base car tablet holder and it was very easy to install and it's very versatility which it can hold your cell phone and tablet and for what it cost. The value for the money it cost is not bad and once it's install it really holds up well with full stability which you can't go wrong on this product it is a must keep.
