I was working on a project and thought I had all the wires in the right part of the connector: wrong! And I didn’t have a tool to fix it and remove the wires. I went to so many auto parts stores in town that day, none had anything close to what I needed. Then I find and get this tool. This tool is now my best friend. You can see from my video just how smoothly and quickly it works. I will always buy this tool from here if I need it again. It made such a difficult thing incredibly easy! The tool itself is well made and well designed. And it works great with my minifit jr connectors. Thank you.

This pin extractor is a game changer if you work with a lot of molex mini fit connector's and pin's. Compared to other de-pinner's I have used, this one is quick, easy, and works the first time. They are compatible only with the molex mini fit jr. series, so make sure that's what you are needing before buying. The durability is good, but you do have to be careful when using not to put to much pressure on the tip's, or they can bend. Overall, a great product that I would definitely recommend to anyone!

There are cheaper DIY alternatives out there (the best of which are staples!!!), but nothing will work as fast, as accurately, as neatly and as ergonomically as this tool. For a single use tool it's not cheap. The result, however, will speak for itself. Don't buy this tool if you only have to work on one plug. If you have a lot of GPU plugs that need modification, or need to pull the pins of an ATX 24 pin cable. This is it! Also, this tool has a push button that allows you to eject the pins from the plastic housing without damage to the pin itself. And once you are done the pins will snap back into the housing with a satisfying 'click.' This is a 5 star product. No question. And well worth the price I paid for it.

I didn't want to shell out the $ for a Molex-branded tool, and kept my fingers crossed that this would work OK. I was a bit surprised how well it did work - absolutely recommended, especially if the tool's on your own dime and not something you need to use every day.

I wish I bought this first instead of wasting my time and money on the universal key sets. Very easy to use on mini fit jr. Seems like a good build quality. Fits nice. Worth the money, saves lots of frustration. Like others have said, make sure you're buying for the right molex size

I seated 4 of 6 micros in the wrong place in my connector and needed to remove those and then re-seat them. This tool enabled me to remove theses. However you must have a huge amount of patience. The male pins and female slots are round. You have no idea where the barbed prongs are on the male in the pin. So using this tool you must ever so slightly turn it (in the same direction), moving the tool both in and out until you get it to release. It took me over 1 hour to release 4 connectors. I nearly gave up many times.

It works for some connectors but not others. The design looks slick and sound in concept but failed in practice. The plunger is prone to jam into the square conductor and the tangs can be bent. It does not work for several contacts in on connectors so it does not work at all! the bent tangs make the return questionable but I will try.

After testing some other extractors, my hopes were not very high however this tool has work perfectly so far to repin multiple sets of PSU cables. Replaceable tip is also a bonus.
