Ive had this in both sizes for a few years now, finally thought to review it.
The gasket issue has been fixed. If you have one of the older ones. You can find replacement gaskets at a hardware store.This is a great product for the mobile fisherman. I use it for mobile hole going over fishing a lot and it's perfect for that. The smaller one is easy to actually wear as a lanyard. This prevents you from having to live lug a minute bucket with you. Water exchanges take 3 seconds. The bait lives forever. What more could you ask for?

works great BUT design flaw!
I really loved this canister and used it while fishing in the surf, UNTIL a rogue wave washed it out of my hands and even though I searched and searched, it was GONE. I have the cap but the bottle washed away. This could have easily been avoided IF they would added a lanyard to BOTH sides this way the bottle is never unattached. At 25.00 for a small canister, the replacement cost is very high.

Perfect for ice fishing
Used it ice fishing running to the flags. Everyone wanted one after they saw it. When it was really cold it did form some ice which was expected so just kept it in bait bucket when I didn’t need it and worked perfect.

Good product
Works good. Wish it was a little bigger and had a better adjustable lanyard. Would recommend. Perfect for minnows around the pond.

Beware, Gaskets fell out first use
This product has a really awesome idea behind it, but the gaskets came out on my first use. Does not hold a ton of minnows, if you put too many minnows in they will die rather quickly unless your are constantly refilling with water. This product would be so much better if it was insulated and had a one way check valve installed. The insulation would keep minnow alive longer and would also make it float, check valve would allow air to get into canister to keep minnows alive longer. I also don’t find that it holds enough minnows to do a good stretch of creek fishing without refilling with more minnows. Very cool product but disappointing at the price point. Has the potential to be so much better. Will be returning.
