Active Beds Single Reflex Foam 1inch Deep Mattress Topper

These little mattress toppers really surprised me, here is why...You are bound to get a few bad reviews on anything no matter how good it is so seeing a couple of negative ones I did wonder what they were going to be like,They were packed tightly in the wrapping and well packaged for obvious reasons as they are foam so be VERY careful when unpacking them which can be tricky.Once that obstacle is over you unroll them and lay them flat.Yes they had a strange foamy smell which of course is natural but an hour or 2 out of the packing and its gone.You are buying INCH thick foam so for £19 you shouldn't expect 3 inches worth, however I laid them down on the beds (I bought 2) and covered with a mattress protector and made the beds up as usual.I purchased these as although the 2 mattresses were memory foam topped within them you could start to feel a bit of a spring to the mattress.I decided to test the toppers out myself after all the hard work of unwrapping and making beds up.A 60 minute snooze later and I have to admit it was a very comfy sleep!It made a huge difference, especially as it is only 1 inch thick.They passed the mummy test and the teenage children test.Kids were very happy and I feel better knowing they have a more comfortable bed without braking the bank!In future I think I will purchase a topper WITH a new mattress as it will give the mattress longevity therefore no need to keep replacing them.I think these are a bargain compared to other products you can buy at twice the price.I will probably be buying a kingsize for my bed too!

It was discoloured in some places.My son says hes sleeping much better and says it feels comfy

"Delivery was incredibly fast- came before it was due which was good for me. Very comfortable- has made my already comfortable bed really cosy and soft! I would say be careful when opening- I cut it a little by accident when opening- it is so tightly packed with no protection between the cling film/ bubble wrap and the item, so its very easy to cut the foam. This was no big deal though and hasn't affected the product at all. Was very happy with the whole process; very straightforward and fast."

I cannot understand the rating given for this foam topper. It literally is 1 inch of non memory foam. Bought it for my son and he says that his uni mattress springs still dig into his back. The company delivers very promptly and that's why I have given it 2 stars. I wish the previous raters stated this,I would not have invested in this.

Bought this to put on top of a new mattress for my 5 year old boy as he didn't found it soft enough,whilst i get a new mattress and now i don't need too!he sleeps much better and likes it,so i'll buy a new mattress on a couple of years instead.I wouldn't recommend it for an adult but perfect for a kid.

Not a very good product I'm afraid. Very hard and uncomfortable

Made a big difference to my sons mattress. A bit smelly to begin with, but quickly disapated within a couple of days

Ok so a bit late turning up (no fault of the company Royal Mail damaged) customer service was great after a mix up and Holly was outstanding.Product amazing!! My daughter now sleeps really well. Definitely 5 star and worth the wait
