It is nice to be able to order these caps and keep one on hand. I don't know why but after a few months use the cap on my carpet cleaner the spring pops out. I always keep a new cap on hand and these work great. It fits perfect there's no leakage.

The cap perfectly fits the detergent container and works correctly. No leaks and seems to have the same durability as the stock cap. No complaints!

Perfect fit

I first went to the manufacturer's website to see what part what the part was called and how much did it cost. After seeing it there I went to Amazon to see if they carried it. Sure enough. Had the exact same piece. A lot less cost and it works just as well as if I bought it from the manufacturer.

Perfect replacement cap for solution tank on a Hoover power dash. The original cap leaked and was difficult to screw cap on tank straight. New cap screwed on easily. This should correct the leak. I will update once I’ve ran the cleaner with the new cap in place.
