I have to start out this review by saying that using a piercing gun is never good. They cause the ear more trauma than what is necessary. So if you’re going to do it, just make sure you do your research to learn possible risks. With that being said, I bought this piercing kit to use on both my lobe and cartilage. The first piercing I did was super tough (had to work up some bravery), but after the first, the rest were easy. The kit is extremely self-explanatory and I like that the guns themselves were disposable for sanitary reasons. I was actually impressed with how little pain was involved with the piercing process. The earrings were pretty and shiny, but a little uncomfortable due to pokey backs. I saw some people saying that their earrings became discolored and started turning their skin green. I did not have this experience at all. However, the material did irritate my skin after about 5 days. I switched to a hypoallergenic pair of flat back earrings and the irritation went away immediately. The shape of the earrings also make the piercings difficult to clean. Overall, this kit is worth the $10 I paid for it. I would just recommend changing the earrings shortly after piercing.

Works great and is easy to use

I love this product, it was very easy quick and painless. I pierced my ears with these and the healing process wasn’t linear but they’re healed now and I am in love with them. The jewelry is a bit large but it isn’t a bother to me. I love this set as it is inexpensive!

I was having a problem finding a small stud for a second hole piercing and a cartilage piercing. These look really nice in, and I was very happy that I have not had any allergic reactions even with leaving them in 24/7. I just clean the earring and the ear lobe with rubbing alcohol every few days. Great price too!

Love this is very easy to use and fast. Quality is very good. But the earrings eventually rust so you do have to switch it out.

Gorgeous, very easy to use and no pain quite literally. Great value for price and very good material of the earrings, great for multiple piercings as it brings many, did both my ears without an issue.

If you're wondering what the difference is between this piercing gun kit and the one that's twice as much, it's pain and infection. That's the difference. The piercing itself, while not screamingly painful is not exactly "easy"--rather than a spring action that punctures quickly, this is more like stapling an earring into your ear. You have to squeeze it, HARD. Also, I'm not sure what metal these studs are but they will need to changed out for something better in less than a week. Both earrings for me tarnished in just a few days and had my ears red and swollen. It did actually work to pierce the ear, but I probably would have done better with a sewing needle and a potato.
