This item is intended to heat up lab tubes and not syringes. However, I did not realize this until after the return window and after I ordered a different size heat block for this item and it still wouldn't work for syringes. I'm giving it 5 stars because the item did heat the block and it was programmable as described. The primary reason I'm giving 5 stars is for the customer support- after I explained that I had purchased for heating syringes and not lab tubes and being told that this device cannot heat syringes, the company issued a refund and return even though it was past the return window. For that reason, if the company offers another device that will meet my needs, I will order confidently.
