This display stand is pretty good for the price (£30 today). The base is actually a metal cover over a water tank that you fill up to properly weight the device. The tank is threaded, not the cover, so you can't easily replace it with a proper weight, which is a shame. The post screws in easily and is easy to adjust, and the adjustment point ratchet seems sound. The sign on the top has a rather cheap bolt and bracket holding it to the post (see photo) which needed a lot of tightening to hold it firm.The frame itself is excellent, with a sprung bezel for holding in the no-glare plastic cover. It took a lot of removing as it is very snug in the internal space - take care not to scratch it! I have stuck a post-it on the back of a sheet of A4 under the sign I have inserted so I can remove it more easily. Overall a good budget purchase which I mostly recommend.
