Cabin Pressure: Zurich: The Finale Special of the full-cast BBC Radio Comedy

cabin pressure is my favorite radio program ever, and even though it's bbcr4 (which has a tendancy to be more about news and stories targeted at older people) i'm 19 and have loved this show since primary school.we listen to it over and over and you still laugh even though you know the storyline - it's very rare for a joke program like this to still be able to do that when you can practically recite the script yourself!it was a good ending to a phenomenal show and normally i would complain about something like this ending but like the writer said - if anything goes on for too long it risks becoming stale and tired and it's better to finish properly rather than drag it out for money.Whenever i feel homesick or upset at uni i play some cabin pressure and it calms me right down and can actually make me happy again sometimes!

Fantastic finale as expected but difficult to come to terms with it being just that. This sort of comedy is so very rare and so valuable that the lack of it will leave a huge gap - there is not always much to laugh at these days but time after time these recordings can do it. The 'crew' was just perfect. Thank you John Finnemore.

Finally managed to get the last two episodes of this fantastic comedy. We have already bought the other 4 series, so this completes the set. Highly recommended with an excellent cast, which, by this final (double) episode, bring the story to a great conclusion (no spoilers here).I would, however, recommend listening to other Cabin Pressure episodes before this one, otherwise many of the jokes won't make sense. The beginning of this episode follows immediately from the Yverdon les Bains episode (last one of Series 4), so that's a minimum to start.Benedict Cumberbach had already reached stardom by the time this was recorded, yet he still came back to reprise the nerdy Martin...

Satisfying conclusion to this superb series containing many subtle references to gems from earlier episodes and as hilarious as always. All good things must, unfortunately, come to an end, however, at least the cast & writer have provided their fans with a truly memorable, and somehow believable, fairytale ending.

I can't really add anything additional to others comments - just add myself to those who love this series. Sadly this is the last but a great (oh - sorry Arthur) BRILLIANT ending. If you have listened to the rest of the series (1-4) you owe it to yourself to listen to this - and if you haven't - why not??? Without giving anything away the end for each character is really satisfying and just what you hope for each them. A shame we won't meet them again (that was a hint to the author.)

The two episode finale to conclude the best radio comedy series of recent years, this is a wonderful final take of the show. There is mystery, adventure, romance, tension, much hilarity and a variety of happy endings. Matilda Zeigler and Anthony Head make wonderful guest stars, and the final episodes may be a different take on the show compared to the other four CDs, but these are final episodes to treasure.

What can one say about this series that has not already been mentioned. All the people who have listened (and bought the cds) will be aware of the hilarious situations the crew found themselves in . The outstanding performances of Stephanie Cole, Benedict Cumberbatch, Roger Allam and John Finnemore were superb. In the words of 'Arthur' (written and played by the extremely talented John Finnemore) - it was 'BRILLIANT'! I only wish there had been an extra star for superlative.

I love this comedy show and it is always hilarious! This is the final episodes and it concludes the series nicely yet I still wouldn't mind if it had been twice as long.The product itself arrived on time but the top of the cd case was cracked. The cd inside was fine.

Das ist ein tolles Comedy-Hörbuch. Alle Sprecher sind klasse. Geholt habe ich es mir wegen Benedict Cumberbatch und man wird belohnt. Leider die letzte CD aus der Serie. Habe sie schon durch und bin ein kleines bisschen traurig, dass es nichts Neues gibt. Auf jeden Fall ein paar Std. Lachen und Schmunzeln und versüßt das Autofahren.

Großartiges Finale zu dieser brillianten Serie!Mehr ist eigentlich nicht zu sagen. Das Finale ist wunderbar gelungen und ich höre die ganze Serie immer wieder gerne.

Der perfekte Abschluss dieser ohnehin großartigen Reihe. Die Briten wissen zum Glück noch,was Comedy und Humor bedeuten! Kann man jedem nur empfehlen

４人のキャラの中では、なんといってもダグラスの機転とウィットに富んだ皮肉が気に入っているのですが、今回もダグラスの機転で、４人の危機が救われます。終わってしまい、大変寂しいです。

This series is one of the best audio comedies out there. I bought this for my dad since he can't get the Audible version. He loved it, too. I highly recommend it. I'm sad that there aren't many, many more seasons.

These CD's are episodes of a very funny BBC radio comedy. Brilliant writing by John Fennimore. Superb job by the actors, including B. Cumberbatch, who really delights us here with his comedy chops. Have listened to it over and over and am still laughing like a loon every time!The above question about how the story is narrated (it isn't....it's acted) is not applicable.

I'll listen to anything with Benedict Cumberbatch. Entertaining British humor, unfortunately very short for the price.

Hilarious British radio comedy about a crazy "airdot" with a cast of crazies.

Sometimes you just need a little brain candy. Great ending to a wonderful series.

I have the whole series now, including Zurich, and even after several listens, it still makes me smile.
