It is a very useful item, I bought 2. I have a fairly large box freezer on 1, and a washing dryer on the other. They wheel around easily and have them indoors. I am not sure if winter weather or damp would be beneficial, personally I would urr on the side of caution, but indoors they are great. It was the right thing for our small tumble dryer, which is kept in the cupboard under the stairs, to wheel it out to the back door when we are using it. The only thing I would improve is to make the "edges" taller to hold the dryer on the base because when we get to a door sill, the wheels stopped and the dryer kept going. (I added a small modification of my own to overcome this.
