A perfect replacement. - Excellent replacement for a remote after the dog completely destroyed the original. It worked straight out of the box (after putting in the batteries) and is exactly like the original. There’s quite a lot of buttons on the remote and newer versions have voice assist which makes it easier to use. But it’s not a feature I am particularly interested in. I just needed a working remote and this ticked all the boxes, and at a much better price point that going to LG directly. Very happy with it. Great TV with the cheapest, nastiest remote like ever. Tiny buttons crammed into the bottom of the remote with loads of useless buttons taking up 3/4 of the remote. No voice control, horrible cheap feel of the buttons, felt cheap thin plastic in my hand, no voice control. I hated the TV on the grounds of the remote. Seriously you may think me crazy but I even considered buying another TV I hated the remote so much. Bought this one and it is sheer joy to use, so simple, feels really heavy and it's real quality build. I love it. I don't get why Anyone would dislike thus remote it's perfect unless they haven't actually bought the genuine LG remote but one of the many copies out there. I paid the extra for this one as I wanted the real thing.
