Great little set of starter tools! Easy to use and work great!

Nothing crazy, decent set of starter tools. They will work but not the best. Simple as that.

I'm a novice, so this is a nice introductory kit to have in my arsenal. I love the range of tools included, especially the stamps all at a fair price.

I got this set for the variety of stamps it contained and the swivel knife. These items in this set seem to be of very good quality. Here is my take on each of the tools.There are several stamps in this set of a variety of types including bevelers, background patterns, figures and more, many of them are some basic essential stamps for leather working. Each of the stamps has a textured handle to help you keep a good grip on it while working.The swivel knife turns easily and works well. It comes with a small allen wrench which can be used to remove the blade if it needs to be replaced. The knife's height can also be adjusted.The hammer or maul is a weighted hammer with a nylon head which will help soften the blows when working so that the stamps are not damaged. It makes a nice addition to my leather working tools.The tracing pens have a variety of head sizes, they have rounded steel tips and work well on wetted tooling leather. The wooden handles and are pretty light weight, however the handles seem pretty sturdy and durable. I used a magnet to determine how far the tips go into the handles, it appears they go in approximately 1/4 to 1/2 inch deep. They are well attached and there is no play in them. I feel that even though they are not a solid metal styluses, they still seem to be of good quality and durability and work very well.The kit also comes with some tracing paper and a small practice piece of leather. I think this kit will work great as a starter set for a beginner or as an expansion set for an experience leather worker.

The seller is very responsive and helpful. I had an issue with some rusting on the stamps, and they reached out to me to resolve the problem. For the price, I didn't expect a professional grade product, but I was a little disappointed when my stamps rusted in storage. I would just suggest that you use some kind of rust preventative before storage. I'm changing my rating because I do think my original rating was harsh, and the seller did what they could to make it right.
