Easy to install
This was super easy to put together. It was easy to attach my bat house. I liked that it included 2 ways to attach the house. I just put it up yesterday so I can not say how it lasts yet.I am happy with it at the moment.

Easy to assemble
A heavier birdhouse causes it to sway a bit in the wind. Could not add the last couple sections. It would have been too top heavy.

Great bird house pole when you want a little extra height
To be honest, I didn't even notice the 109 inch length of this when I got it. I knew we had a bird house that needed to go on a pole and this was a great value so I figured we'd give it a shot.It comes disassembled and is quickly put together. You can leave a piece or two out if you don't need the full length. It's surprisingly rigid once you screw the components together. Pleasantly surprised with that. I also like the option of being able to top or side mount a bird house. We opted for a side mount because it fit better with the bird house my daughter had built. The staking system works well, I don't think we'll have any issues with it falling over even with our somewhat sandy soil.

Nice and tall
This birdhouse pole was easy to assemble and you can adjust it to different heights. If you have it at its full height, it will have to be a light weight birdhouse or it becomes top-heavy and not very stable. I have it a full height. The birds like to be further from the ground. You do have to have everything together in order to know where the birdhouse will face. Or decided on that first before adding the bird house.I personally do not think it would do good as a bird feeder holder. Due to the fact you would have to get on a ladder or high step stool to add bird seed to it. I have lots of birds come to my feeders because of all the trees that we have and backing up to a very large pond. I would constantly have to get my smaller ladder out to add the bird seed.Cleaning it out once a year so birds will come back is not as bad as twice a week with bird seed.I do like the fact that it come with two different mounts to attach to it.So far it has held up fine, but we have had record highs here in southern Texas and no rain or storms in almost two months now. I can’t rate on its stability for that yet.For the price I think it’s worth it.

Tall! Easy to modify with no added parts for smart feeder!
Bird House Pole: The pole was easy to assemble. I had to modify how I attached this feeder as it had it's own mount that must be used and the holes did not come close to aligning with the pole's supplied base or side-mount plate. I simply sandwiched the feeder's mount between the base and side mount plate (laid flat) and bolted the base and side mount plate together. It held the feeder's mount securely. In the yard, I at first mounted it at full height, but was wary of the top-heavy nature of the feeder and concern the rod would not support the weight during a storm. I took out one of the rod sections to decrease the length of the lever action of wind, which still leaves it very high and out of reach of cats and racoons. Have not yet seen squirrels attempt to climb, the narrow pole should discourage their attempts (or at least make them entertaining to watch). One drawback is you have to have everything together in order to know where the feeder will face, then place the base to align with that. The prongs do seem to hold the feeder securely. I question how well the poles will hold up in storms, but we have had a severe drought all summer so no storms to test that aspect. Will update if issues develop with time.

Very nice birdhouse/feeder pole
You can use this to mount a bird house or keep your feeders off the ground. The slick metal pole makes it hard for squirrels to climb up for a feeder. And with the various height adjustments you can make it high enough so your bird houses feel safe to the birds. There are two mount plates (screws included) that give you a variety of different mounting options. The 5 prong base makes this firm and stable. My only complaint is that the 'scoring' for the threads where the sections screw together seems somewhat poorly done. When I screw them together they appear to hold perfectly fine but do not instill confidence. In outside environments with extremes of hot/cold over the season I will have to watch to see if these maintain their integrity.
