Rotgut toxic product. Sticks broke after one round of marshmallows. Also if you can see in the pic - the stick turned my marshmallow silver (uncooked marshmallow next to it for comparison). Like the metal just burned off and sprayed onto the marshmallow. Ummmmm not good.

I recently purchased the Marshmallow Roasting Sticks with Wooden Handle Extendable Forks Set of 5 Pcs Telescoping Smores Skewers for use around our fire pit. We tried them out for the first time this weekend, toasting marshmallows for smores. The telescoping feature of these skewers enabled us to toast our marshmallows without getting too close to the fire. We did figure out that if you don't keep them angled slightly up during use, your marshmallow might slip right off once the toasting begins. Care should be used after toasting to avoid touching the hot metal when removing the toasted marshmallow (a little tricky when fully extended, but easy once you get the hang of it). Clean up wasn't too bad. One of our users had REALLY roasted their marshmallows, leaving some burnt residue on the prongs. This required scrubbing with steel wool to remove, versus just a hand wash for all the other skewers. All in all these skewers were a big hit with the family, and we look forward to using them again.

Our camping friends had a set of these and when we were going to use our sticks, they let us try theirs out. These are great! They telescope out so you don't have to sit right next to the fire. They are strong enough to roast marshmallows, as well as hot dogs!They are light-weight and pack easy. Just Love, love, love them!!

We love making smores at our fire pit in the backyard and the kids kept fighting over marshmallow sticks so I decided to try these.1. I love the color coded rings. Everyone can keep track of their own stick and it drastically cuts down on fighting about sticks2. They are easy to extend and retract for kids. You do have to pull it to extend it and push in to retract so no concerns about it "accidentally" extending and hitting someone. If that happens easy no question it was on purpose3. The 2 prongs can easily hold 2 jumbo marshmallows at once. We have never tried hot dogs or anything else but I can see how these would be great4. These are sturdy! They have been tested and cared for in the ways only children can, including but not limited to dropping, stepping on, sword fighting before getting taken away, and being left in the rain. They all look brand new!These have been such a great addition to Smores night and I have even given these as gifts!!!

The very first thing that happened when I opened one of these was that it broke. It just pulled completely apart, and some tiny piece fell out on the ground that I never located. The others we used and they are really flimsy. If you put a hotdog on one they bend under the weight of the hot dog. They’re also near impossible to clean to the point of looking good after use. I have 2 I got at a campsite once that are WAY better. I just needed a lot of them for a get together I had so I got these. I would recommend trying any of the other ones on amazon that look sturdier than these.

We had a tough time getting these to spin around. It definitely takes 2 hands. I've used others that are similarly engineered and they work much better. Seller asked if I was satisfied, I said no, but they responded with a boilerplate email that didn't address the issue. Now I'm getting bombarded with requests to review. So, here it is.

We bought these specific skewers because they say you can rotate the fork without rotating the entire skewer. We unboxed them to find out that is a lie. The steel fork is glued into the handle, and the plastic piece is just for show. Extremely disappointed in these poor quality skewers! I'll be getting my money back for these.

I purchased these roasting sticks to make s'mores with my 5yo using our backyard fire pit. I have only used them once but I would definetly recommend them. I loved that they came in a pouch for travel and storage. Also they collapse and expand to a pretty decent length that I felt my 5yo was safe to hold on her own. I washed them in the dishwasher and turned out fine.

The handle is large and easy to grip for anyone, easy to hold and safe to roast in an outdoor or indoor fireplace.

These extend far enough for kids to roast stuff safely enough away from a fire.Not super sturdy for heavy items like sausages but just fine for marshmallows and hot dogs.Handles stay cool. They collapse neatly into the little pouch.

My family loves these sticks. Well made, with a telescopic arm to adjust roasting length. Easy to clean, and the colour coded ends make sure there's no mix up in using someone else's stick. And for storage and portability for camping they come with a handy draw string bag.

They work well enough, and it comes with 5 sticks. They're kinda flimsy though and will bend a lot if fully extended. Work really well with lighter food items but if you try something heavier like a smokie then it bends and doesn't feel like it will hold up. Havent broken one yet though. Pretty good quality for the price.

2 sticks broke when folding them but you have enough others in the pack. I wash them in the dishwasher and it works great. The colors are cute and the holding patt doesnt get hot so its very useful
