The panels work, but the glue is so-so
Decent panels, which do not require any special prep before installation.Just unpack, let them be for an hour (I left mine outside to gas off) and they are ready to install.Mind you pyramid panels have slightly less foam than wedge types, so they absorb a bit less in the 200+ range. But in 80-125 they might perform slightly better.3 out of 12 panels fallen off the wall overnight, so I had to use the sticky pads for them

Well Made
Decent well made acoustic panels. These are not for soundproofing rather for large rooms with an echo. These will help reduce echo quite a bit. I would recommend if you need better acoustics in your room.

Thick but needs more
It's thicker than most of the insulation I've seen on Amazon, but it's still not as dense as I would like it to be. This means that you will need additional sound barriers placed before this one is put down. The triangular faces of this foam helps deflect sound from inside the room to prevent any echos or cause feedback.

Awesome sound deadening hobbyist price professional quality!
I'll start by saying you most definitely will need more than one pack to make an effective sound deadend area, but one 12 pack of the 2"×1×1 sound deadening foam did certainly help out around my boys drums! However for a more effective sound deadening result, especially if you're doing a recording area or something of the like. Or like myself helping insulate the sound from other rooms, I personally would definitely recomend buying atleast 3 or 4 packs. Other than that i have nothing but great things to say about this product! The quality was phenomenal, unlike the directions that came with it suggested there was no need to soak the foam, so obviously no need to let it dry. The self adhesive works awesome so again unlike the instructions say there's no need for double sided take or spray on adhesive. Just peel the paper backing and slap the suckered on the wall! The self adhesive worked phenomenal! Plenty sticky to hold the sound deadening mat in place but not so sticky that It leaves a residue when removed. It is also good enough that you can stick them, pull them down and re-stick them with no loss of adhesion! I'd call that a definite plus! I could also definitely see them being useful in other places as well not just music studios and such, I could totally see using them on a cosplay costume or something of the like as well as in other hobbies! Overall I would say these are a grade A product and I would highly recomend them to anyone looking for a cost effective sound deadening material for a recording studio or just to keep your bubs drums from rattling your ears from a room away!

One of the Best so far
I have been trying different brands of acoustic panels in my basement and I would like to recommend these simply because of the adhesion. Many acoustic panels share the same features in terms of material (foam) and thickness. Since these are not professional grade and geared towards home consumer, I am not able to say definitively the full impact of noise absorption. However, the adhesion is simply the best among the many brands I have tried. Overall, my basement that has a theater room sounds much better and I have been able to reduce the reverberation and echo considerably. My 7.1 surround system with Klipsch speakers and Denon Atmos Receiver are now fully enjoyable. They are not pretty to look at as compared to some I have seen. Hence they are better suited for basement ceiling or other areas that are not aesthetically important. I recommend it as long as it fits your use case as described above

Easy peel n' stick option for home recording studio space!
These acoustic panels are really great quality. They expand out once you’ve got them out of the package, so be sure to do this the night before you install them. The adhesive makes it so easy! Just peel n’ stick. No messing with tacks, nails or glue. These panels are really an essential part of any home studio recording space. They reduce outdoor/external room noise and help the sound waves from your voice stay put, reducing distortion. If you can swing it, your best bet is to cover every wall of your recording space with these!PRO TIP: before sticking them to your walls, be sure to spray down the walls with a mixture of isopropyl alcohol and water. Then, wipe that down with a paper towel. This will remove any dust and residue that can hinder the adhesive and prevent it from sticking.(you'd be surprised how much dust you will pull back from the walls!)

Sticks Well
These are good quality. I like the peel and stick, but some panels are hard to get the sticker backing off. Acoustically, I’m using these in conjunction with a bunch of other types of panels and it has worked quite well. The sound in the studio is nice and tight now.

Excellent Noise Cancellation
I picked up the DEKIRU Sound Proof Foam Panels to help with my audio and video recording. The panels come in a super-compressed package, when unsealed they expand nicely. It's also nice the panels have adhesive on them already, no need to deal with glue. Once in place, they work well to help deaden the sound in my studio.Overall, if you're looking for some good noise-canceling foam panels with self-adhesive then these are a great option!
