Nice knife
It is a very good looking knife with a beautiful laser image of Damascus steel. It looks real but for this price it is just stainless steel.

Crazy Good Value for Price
I was pleasantly surprised by this. I bought it to use at my parents' house when traveling, expecting it to basically be a throwaway knife. But it's made reasonably well, comes razor sharp, feels comfortable, and looks cool. It's not real damascus (in fact the texture looks more like pitting) and I suspect the edge will dull somewhat quickly, but you could do waaaay worse for the money.

Very, very sharp and comfortable to use.
I was instantly impressed as soon as I got this out of the box. It’s so sharp it practically slices through vegetables by gravity alone. Very little hand pressure and it slices straight down through a raw potato. Very comfortable and easy to control. It doesn’t slice off in some unwanted direction, it slices how you guide it. I’ve bought a bunch of kitchen prep knives recently and this one is the best when it comes to razor sharpness, comfort, control and style. I’d expect this to be a lot more expensive but I’m glad it is budget friendly yet very professional in its quality.

Very sharp. Very affordable.
I "treated " myself to two Shun "high end" Premier chef and santoku knives. Within two months both had severe chips on the edge. No abuse. No bone chopping. No kids. So I explored and researched and stumbled upon Enoking Gyuto chef knife. I'm satisfied and impressed. Wicked sharp the entire lenghth of the blade. It handles nicely. The handle is very comfortable for me(large sausage fingered paws). Is the construction perfect? Not quite but damn close. There is a very slight, small bend in the tang just outside the handle. My blacksmith friend spotted it. Very few people have the eye to discern this tiny flaw. I probably would never have noticed it. Comes with an impressive wooden presentation box and very nice protective wooden sheath. Buy with confidence. This is a rare value for your $$.

Eno-pauper: Cheap Knife for a Cheap Price
BLUF: Sturdy, okay handling, holds an edge poorly. Looks better than the price, but still a cheap knife. Probably a Chinese brand made for US markets (this brand had only 2 listed products on Amazon.jp and the ad pictures were all in English, so definitely not a Japanese market brand).Don't kid yourself, you bought this knife for the same reason I did: you needed a kitchen knife. This is certainly a kitchen knife. Is it a good one? No, but you probably knew that when you looked at the price. With that in mind, it's surprisingly sturdy and doesn't look like a cheap knife. The handle more comfortable than it looks, but also not the most ergonomic/comfortable grip to use for long periods of time. For the price this is all fine, but you'll need to sharpen it a lot. Like most cheap kitchen knives, this blade holds an edge for about a week or two with regular use before you need to sharpen it. As a functioning sociopath, I actually enjoy knife maintenance, but this may be tedious for people who expect a better quality product (which in that case, buy a better knife). Other than the look and durability (so far), it's an average knife for the price.

Excellent Value
Excellent value at $34. I don't think you can find better this this.As for performance its edge retention is above average. The steel is on the hard side but not too hard. The factory edge that comes on it is quite rough, only there to protect it from chips during shipping. It's decently sharp compared to your typical big box store knives but you can hand a sharpen a much sharper edge on it.I'm a professional sushi chef in Toronto. I have really expensive Japanese knives with really hard steels but those tend to chip when I'm cutting something hard or rough. I usually buy cheap knives to do rough work. Knives with softer steels don't chip as easily. That being said this knife has a high carbon stainless steel form china that's all over the market right now. It's a very good steel, strikes a good balance between sharpness and edge retention and stainless on top of that. Japanese high carbon steels are harder and sharper but those will rust and way more expensive. German steels are very soft by comparison. Henckles knives for example are softer, while they can be sharpened to equal sharpness. I find that henckles knives do not retain its edge very long. I don't like them for professional work. The steel aside. The knife is on the heavy side. The handle is octagon which is not my favorite. I personally like the D handles but since in left handed it's impossible to get a left handed D unless you custom order a knife for a lot of $$$. So I will take octagon over a right handed D haha.

Good knife for the price.
Really good value for the price. Quality is good. I'm a knife collector, and have some really expensive knives. This knife for the price is definitely worth it. Came sharp out the box; gave it a few swipes on the honing steel and is now shaving sharp. Tested on tomatoes and can slice extremely thin with no effort. I seen people in the reviews complaining about rust but that's because you're supposed to oil it. After washing and drying it, you coat it with a thin layer of food grade mineral oil with a paper towel and it will never rust. Just part of the maintenance with these types of knife steels. Personally I would not wash this in the dishwasher, it will most likely be rusted by the time you take it out.

Great for the price. Longer than I thought.
Long. Sharp right out of the box. This is not full tang knife, i feel the balance is a little bit off. But overall it is good for the price.

Decent home knives
They come pretty sharp but are heavy with fairly soft steel!

Well priced
Excellent knife and very sharpe. It's well made and for the price, you can't go wrong. I bought mineral oil separately to maintain properly as others advised.
