I bought this because I have scar tissue on my scalenes causing them to compress my scapular nerve. By scraping my scalenes, I get temporary relief from the scapula nerve pain. My physical therapist did the scraping and I decided to buy this one so I could scrape my scalenes and along my clavical myself. This tool is solid metal and has a good heft to it. It is easy to grip. And the curve of the tool really help conform to the areas being scraped. While this is not a cure for my issue, it is a nice tool to have around when nerve pain is high. No regrets on buying this.

I bought this to use at home on the recommendation of my physical therapist. I took it to my next appointment and all the therapists there were amazed at how well it's made. My therapist used my tool at my next several appointments when she was showing me how to properly use it. Each time she raved about how good my tool is. The tool has a good weight to it and the curves and points are perfect for reaching all the angles around my feet. The thinner end hooks just right in my hand to make it easier to grip and provide the right amount of pressure as I'm using the tool.I looked at several fancier/ prettier tools but settled on this one because it looked more like what the physical therapists actually use in their practice. I'm glad I did. This is just a really good tool.

The tool handle edges aren't smoothed all the way. So it's uncomfortable to use for more then 5min. Also it's really small, but still gets the job done.
