Got this for my 87 yo Mom who has advanced Alzheimer's. My hope was it would have a calming and anchoring effect. It couldn't have been any better. She immediately held her new puppy like a baby (the maternal instinct runs deep) and stroked the silky soft fur. The weight is well distributed and actually feels like a little creature when picked up or moved. It's well constructed and the perfect size. Most importantly it's grounding for my Mom and provides her with a positive outlet even if it's only for a short amount of time.

It’s perfect. The distributed weight makes it the best little cuddle buddy. I was having trouble sleeping and, so far, have fallen sleep without issue with the doggo on my chest. I’ve always needed weight but have had issues with blankets cus i get too warm. It’s also a great size and is super soft. Would definitely recommend.

This weighted plush animal is well made, soft, and weighted in its chest and feet. If you need a reminder of the presence of a beloved pet 'sleeping' next to you at night, this works very well as a stopgap.

Gave as a gift...she loved it! Arms are short not long so the aren't weighted just the body is but she likes it that way.

The item is cute and my granddaughter was very excited with it, but the stuffed animal had a large hole in the seam. Extremely disappointed and it appears that this has been an issue for others. Would not recommend.

I've had seams split on this in two places. Has not been used roughly. The weight is lovely and comforting, but the construction could be sturdier. Overall very cute.
