5 QT Stainless Steel Mixer Bowl for Kitchenaid Stand Mixers, Kitchen Aid Mixing Bowl for 4.5-5 QT Tilt-Head Mixer with Handle

fit my artisan kitchen aid perfectly. not loose like others have written. I bought the stainless steel bowl to use with my spiral dough hook for pizza. i read that the glass bowl shouldn't be used with the spiral hook.

I have the 5 QT Kitchen aid with the heavy glass bowl. I am finding that the bowl is so heavy trying to hold it and pour batter into a pan. A few times I nearly dropped it as my hands do not grip as well. I saw this stainless steel bowl and thought I would give it a try.It is much lighter than the glass bowl, it fit my kitchen aid just fine. However, it is so much smaller than my glass bowl. I did almost return it, but I am not finding a stainless bowl on Amazon the size of my glass bowl. I decided to keep it as I feel it will be easier to use, plus when making whipped creme the bowl can go in the freezer to chill before whipping the creme. I have not tried to make a cake or any batter yet, so I am hoping due to its size that cake mix or flour does not fly out of the bowl. As for quality, it seems to be good quality. I like that it will be easy to clean, and it fits well seated in the mixer. If you own a 5 Qt tilt head mixer, they should fit just fine.

The standard KitchenAid bowl that comes with the mixer has no handle. After using the bowl that came with the mixer, it was apparent that a mixing bowl really needs a handle, and we ordered the brand name bowl with a handle. After more baking experience it was decided we needed an additional bowl for those occasions when we make a cake and make icing, or other times we make 2 different cookie doughs at the same time. Having a second bowl with a handle saves the time it takes to wash the same bowl before the second use. This bowl offers some other benefits as well. It is slightly larger and lighter in weight than the brand name bowl but fits perfectly. I find myself using this lighter weight bowl as the default and only use the brand name bowl when making a double recipe. The bowl that came with the mixer is rarely used and is stored in case it is ever needed.

Fit well and was a great add to my baking collection. The idea of having two bowls will be so helpful when cooking/baking and having that extra bowl to do so.

It’s a great replacement for my original bowl as it has started to rust I never had a chance to contact kitchenaid about it before the warranty was up but this is nice to replace it and keep the original bowl as a back up when I make a bunch of cookies

I got this as a replacement for my mixing bowl for my no-name kitchen mixer, and it works very well. This one actually is a little better than the one I had since it has a handle on there, which makes it super easy to maneuver the bowl where I needed to go. Of course it cleans easily And all around I’m happy with it

I tried to buy a backup KitchenAid bowl in the past from a different brand - it ended up being a complete waste of money because the bowl shape was different and the beater couldn't reach the sides in order to evenly mix everything. So, I'm SO thrilled to say that this doesn't have that problem!!This is almost the exact same bowl shape as the original and is also just as sturdy, screws onto the base, and is easy to clean.Having a backup bowl is perfect for people running a cottage business or for someone who's husband eats a lot of cookies (like mine 😂)

This would be a great replacement bowl - if it fit my mixer. I won't take away from the usability of the product for that because it is pretty deep for a smaller sized bowl. I like the handle the allows you to lift and pour with ease. It's extremely easy to clean and is dishwasher safe. I used a handheld mixer to make a batch of brownies and didn't have any issues with the blades reaching the bottom of the bowl.
