Bowls are plenty large but if you put them in microwave they soak up the contents. Never had a leak they just got soft and harder to handle

Great for hot soup. Bowls are very large which was great for helping with eliminating spills due to sloshing soup. Fill the bowls half way which is a hardy serving.
