Value and quality.
I bought this to paint the rough cast walls of my bungalow. I had tried all sorts of paint brushes, but it was too slow and labour intensive.I had to mask off all the windows and doors first with newspapers and masking tape.I diluted the paint with 10% water, set my 50 litre air Compressor to 2 bar, set the mixture screw on the gun, until I was happy with the flow, half filled the paint hopper and applied the paint. I used a circular motion when applying the paint, so as to get into all the nooks and crannies associated with rough cast. Perfect finish, yes I missed a few spots but easily flashed over later. I used 20 litres of Dulux weather shied Hayfield on a white house, that hasn't been painted for years. One pass with the gun was sufficient. Great product, very cheap, well made.

it will spray masonary paint
searched for a gun that would spray uk masonary paint.no definitive results so thought I'd try this. It does!though a few things to consider. The trigger only lets the paint through, the air is constantly on via the lever valve on the inlet. bit of trial and error and you'll get it fine. but it chomps air.I have a domestic 50l hyundia compressor (2-3hp) and it doesnt stand a chance. had to use my static 200l 4hp monster, and even then it ran continuously!you can use a small compressor, just you'll have to stop every minute or so to let it catch up. I used it on full 100-120 psi, no regulator. as it looses pressure you visibly notice it struggles, so high pressure works best. quality of the gun is awful. I used 4, 7.5l tubs of masonary paint, and by then air was leaking all over the gun, on later breakdown most of the little o rings had perished. Ive bought a pack with hope of replacing and using again.though its was so cheap (same as a couple of disposable rollers and brushes) I'm not too bothered.I experimented with thinning the paint, and it does spray better, but paint is so crap now you'll likely need more coats if its thinned. still I thinned roughly one third, and just kept going over.my surface was awful, tylorene concrete finish. my neighbour hired a decorator to paint his gable, front and back walls. took him 3 days! hammering the brush to try and fill all the holes everywhere!long story short, I think I used too much paint (an issue due to price, 4 tubs 80ish quid)however.... I did it in 2 hours!and that was 4 coats! (I did leave an hour between coats to dry abit, was a nice sunny day)will take much longer with a small compressor, but compared with hours and hours trying to cover roughcast and rough surfaces by hand I think its great.not sure how nice it sprays on a smooth surface, prob not so good, but for rough its great.the paint I sprayed was like double cream thick if that helps anyone.

Gun wouldn’t spray
I took apart the gun and tried all of the nozzles. It was working with water but not my textured Corksol product. I did try multiple times, but had spent the day taping and sheeting up to no avail. Very disappointing.

A basic gun but worked fine, no complaints and saved a lot of time and effort.
Used this for KA tanking slurry, worked brilliantly.Yes the seal on the hopper did need a little encouragement, the jubilee clip is a bit cheap and would only tighten so far before slipping. That's what PTFE tape is for, or you could use a little silicone bathroom sealant if you're not going to dismantle the gun afterwards. For £15 it surpassed my expectations anyway.Does come with a barbed fitting for the air hose (not pictured) along with 3 different sized nozzles. If you have a compressor, sod brushing.

Its o.k but requires large compressor to keep it supplied with the air it requires to operate.

You get what you pay for
Thought I would give this a go as I had a small external paint job to do.The gun worked, but it was difficult to get any kind of consistent spray. I also wasn't expecting to have to control the air flow using the shut off vale. The trigger only releases paint into the path of the air flow. This means that you basically have to open a valve to release a constant stream of air, which causes the compressor to kick in almost immediately and then it can't keep up with the air being used. The most disappointing aspect of the gun is that it leaked. It leaked from the trigger control area and also from the front of the gun, even when the trigger was closed, making the process of using it extremely messy.Maybe a different gun wouldn't have leaked, but this gun is only suitable for small jobs and big compressors.

Great sprayer
Not used yet but I have an identical one which I have used on masonry paint and oil based shed roof paint. When you get used to it it's a great bit of kit. One thing a good compressor is a must.

Fantastic value
This is amazing value for money. Highly recommended.I have sprayed Tyrolean cement and Sandtex smooth exterior paint.Easy to clean, solidly made die-casting with polyethylene container. The little tap provided is useful as additional air flow control. Note: air continuously goes through the nozzle, the trigger controls the outlet fliw of the paint or cement .
