Pioneer MVH-S420DAB

Pioneer do a somewhat confusing range of single DIN headsets but this one does all that I could want save for a physical CD (CD models are available but I find they are increasingly redundant these days and tend to clutter up the interior). The unit comes with a standard ISO harness adaptor to plug straight in or, if missing in the car you can wire it yourself with a soldering iron and shrink wrap if you are handy that way. The included cage is sturdy enough and has a couple of release keys should you want to pull the radio out at a later date. The unit fired right up after installation, don’t forget to connect the DAB radio aerial. I bought this separately as it was a lot cheaper than the offered bundle. Setup is a breeze and quite intuitive. Sources include FM, DAB, Bluetooth, Spotify and a USB stick port on the front. I like that you can navigate through the latter, from the buttons on the fascia, it even allows you to move through folders. Pleased with the sound, clear voice audio and it has a much nicer sound stage than the ancient Sony unit it replaced. Create a long playlist in a cheapo memory stick and you’ll have hours and hours of ad-free listening. The front fascia pops off like they used to do in the 80’s for added security and it will go quite loud before the sound distorts. Nicely packaged and with a comprehensive manual.

My mum loved it & it plugged straight in to her Landrover Freelander. I've not heard it running yet as the amp built into her car isn't working, but I have had it running on the bench and it works a treat...! So many features to use, like hands free phone / music & the Bluetooth app on the phone. Yes, nice stereo.

Great unit just fitted to our motorhome, works perfectly with my phone. Didn't bother with a DAB aerial as we only listen to FM and Spotify downloaded music

great radio with near perfect reception, only fades in and out when in totally built up area but soon finds signal quickly. Easy to install and instruction are clear to understand

This unit does not have a built in microphone dispite what is said in the description.

Mir gefällt das 32 Band Equalizer. Der klare Klang. Der Einbau war sehr einfach. DAB nutze ich leider nicht, da meine verbaute antenne nicht genug Empfang liefert.

Ottima qualità e ascolto per questo Pioneer Autoradio MVH-S420DAB, non ha deluso le mie aspettative, infatti ne ho presi due per entrambe le auto. Ascolto perfetto e radio digitale ottima, il vivavoce è fenomenale e si collega sia con android che ios, usando anche una sua applicazione presente in entrambi gli store. Unico neo il programma waze di navigazione ha problemi con la voce e non si riesce ad ascoltare, funziona con quello di serie ios e google.
