Hours of fun for a 3 and 6 year old
Having each dinosaur in a separate was a great way to get started with everything organized - that didn't last long lol! The 3 year old took a while to get the hang of it but his brother (6 years old) was able to guide him along. It's a lot of smaller sized pieces so a box or case would be a good idea for keeping it all together. The power tool takes two AAA batteries - and you'll need a little Philips head screwdriver to get the batteries in it. This was definitely a great source of entertainment for them and continues to be.

Fun Project!
This may be the cutest stinkin’ kit I’ve ever seen – particularly the happy little dinosaur-in-the-egg screwdrivers. Why don’t I have something like that in my toolbox? The kit also has a power screwdriver, which is fastened shut with a tiny Phillip’s head screw so small hands can’t open it and you'll need to supply two AAA batteries to power it.The separate dinosaurs are each in their own bags, which should make it easy to share out individual projects for more than one day or more than one kid. This toy develops a variety of skills and for younger dinosaur engineers may require some assistance from an adult to complete successfully.A 9 year old might find it simplistic, although still fun. While younger kids will need to be taught the basic skills, unless they have prior exposure to the concepts.I’m dying to see if any of the individual dinosaur parts will switch to the other colors so we can mix and match dino parts. But, I suppose I should let the kids have a crack at them first. These would make awesome gifts for any kid on your list!

Cool idea but not very straight forward for my little brother
My little brother is 3 and I got this for him as a gift. At face value it was really cool for him but after a few minutes of trying, it was a bit too difficult so I had to step in and help. I wish there was an instruction manual or pictures he could use to follow along. Great Idea but I'd honestly say that this is better for 5yr old and up.

Hours of fun
I gave this toy to a toddler I love very much and she had a ball with it. She is the kind of child who is inquisitive, so this toy is perfect for that smart child in your life. She is 2.5 years old. It took her a bit to figure out that she had to screw the parts in, but once she got the hang of it - with Grandmom's help - she felt so happy so I know assembling the toy was part of the fun. Her mom and grandmom are very pleased with this toy and I am too since it is making her exercise the scientific brain I know she has. It is a well-made toy and the price point is very well-adjusted. I totally recommend this set.

Seems fine
Very nice toy. Lots of small pieces, though, needs to be for children that can handle that safely. My wife wanted it for our 2-yr-old grandson, and it is complicated enough that it is not really suitable for him (and, honestly, was not advertised for that age). We'll save it for when he is a bit older. Seems good quality.

Fun
We absolutely loved assembling these dinosaurs. They are the perfect size for little hands and it even comes with screwdrivers and the screws so that the kids can help put them together it is very fun to play with them and they even make noises when you press the button. The dinosaurs are very durable and they even roll on the floor when you push them great idea. They are also well made and have great texture and designs on them to make them stand out. Great for my toddler and even my 5-year-old.

Boys like it, but they needed help
My boys really like these, but taking them apart and definitely putting them back together was a bit hard for them. Might be on of those things that will help them as they develop those fine motor skills, but even I as an adult had some struggles at times. Overall, great product and idea! Hopefully they don't lose any of the parts!
