I've been quite happy with the software
Quite surprised at the negative reviews on here, I've been quite happy with the software. I bought the CD rather than a download, haven't had any technical problems with installation. I also had to reinstall it after replacing Windows OS, still reinstalled fine.Pros: Can use it for a lot of stuff that I would otherwise have to use expensive Adobe software for, such as creating editable forms, creating hyperlinks and auto-jumping bookmarks, editing pages in PDFs and commenting etc. It has a menu ribbon that is similar in design to Microsoft Office packages, so you scroll between the tabs and the ribbon adjusts accordingly. It's also quite straight forward to use. I've created documents that I can then navigate and use on my Ebook.Cons: The interface isn't quite as intuitive as Adobe DC Pro, in that although the software has a lot of capabilities it just seems to take longer to do those things than Adobe would... a few examples are...- Inserting bookmarks; each time you create one or when editing existing ones, the menu ribbon has a tendency to navigate to home when you click outside of a link area so you have to keep clicking on another tab to add or edit another link (it would be better if it just greyed options out when not usable)- Exporting only some pages... Adobe DC pro allows you to drag pages from the navigator into... e.g. your desktop, then automatically create a new PDF with those pages, or you can drag files into the page organiser to rapidly import pages. Expert PDF 9 can't support that so you have to use the import and export buttons - so it still does it but as I said it takes longer.- When creating editable forms, you can give two fields the same name so it should automatically copy and paste the content of one into the other (like twins)... Expert PDF 9 lets you create forms with fields of the same name but when you use it to fill the form it doesn't replicate, so you have to use Adobe Reader to fill the form out.I've given the product 5 stars despite the cons because you can't argue with the value for money considering how much it costs to get Adobe, so you get what you pay for.

the software is now rendered useless. My advice
If I could give this product a minus, I would!I installed this software and was horrified to get TWO security alerts from my Norton AV software when it did it's routine scan. I contacted Avanquest and got a glib, dismissive answer that there is nothing wrong with their software and it's a problem with my AV software. As someone that knows quite a bit about app's and programming I did a bit more investigating and it seems that the exe file and a dll file have been created in a way that they cause two different security issues on the PC. Norton dealt with the offending files by quarantining them and, needless to say, the software is now rendered useless. My advice? Stay away from this software and certainly stay away from a company that doesn't recgnise that there is an issue and treats you like a dummy!!

Not compatible with Windows 10
This doesn't seem to be compatible with Windows 10. I bought this less than a year ago when I had Windows 8.1 and it was working fine. But ever since the upgrade to Windows 10, this software is not working and doesn't let me shut down the Laptop properly (even when I didn't even open it during that session).I will try uninstalling/reinstalling and will update this review with the outcome

Editing tables seem to be a problem in a PDF file.
Seems to work okay but cannot handle PDF to Word convert if any PDF that has a table box in it then it wrecks the whole word document. You can edit a PDF file but again if it has a table in it then I haven't found a way to just select a section of the table and save that as a new PDF.Tables appear a problem for Expert PDF.So only a 4 star from me.

Not that good
Does not work that well, very basic but far cheaper than others, a lot of pdfs it won't convert properly to Word format, had a program at work a few years ago that would do 99 % of Pdfs to Word or Etcl but sadly couldn't remember what it was called so bought this instead.

Software Review
The conversion from a PDF was not as good as I expected, the rest of the functionality I have used is okay

Does a job but is no good if you want to design PDF's
Is OK for converting files but no good if you want to actually design a PDF.
