This was a great purchase and the light is very bright .

THis is an easy install and provides good light for my flag. Would have given it 5 starts, but it only lasts 5-6 hours.

This is an outstanding solar product that keeps my american flag lit all night.

Just arrived. Not very bright, but for under $20 I'm not sure I expected a lot from it to begin with. On a lark, as it was so cheap, I took out the 4 screws holding it together and found it was equipped with an IMR 18650 battery with a stated 1200mAh capacity. The battery felt kind of lightweight, and weighed in at a mere 31 grams on a kitchen scale. Disheartened, I popped in a higher quality Panasonic 18650 CGR cell from my stash that weighs in at 42 grams with a capacity closer to 3500mAh. Overkill, but it'll likely last a lot longer than some no name lightweight 18650 cell out of China. Not gonna mod for increased brightness at this time. Knocking one star off for low quality 18650 inclusion, and knocking off one star for not being very bright.

Charged up for only 4 and 5 hours the first day and still came on for most of the night that first time.

I bought this Nov. 03, 2024, and it seemed to work good, but it didn't last long, doing good. It would not last the night, and worse than being no light, it would start flashing, fast enough to be wondering what is this all about. I would get up a couple of hours after going to bed, and check on this light, and it would be steady flashing. I changed to a better battery, and it didn't make any difference, after coming on at night, it was fine, but have no idea of when it would start to flash, and no way, short of an all nighter, would I be able to tell, how long it flashed, and how long the light stayed on. So I retired it, seemed light a shame finally find something that seems to light up "old glory" but it's not doing anything but flash like crazy after working for a short while. So if anyone has this light, and can let me know how to stop the flashing, I won't need to get rid of this nice looking piece of junk..............
