Very soothing, preservative-free, tiny bottle
I suffer from dry eye. I normally try to keep my eyes relatively comfortable with Xaillin gel, supplied by the NHS, but at present that is unavailable, maybe til November. It is important to me to use a preservative-free eye drop, as I will likely be applying the drops several times a day (and night) for the rest of my life.I was very glad to discover these "Comfort" drops. I find them very soothing. They claim to be preservative-free, and yet that the drops can be used up to three months after opening the bottle. However, the bottle is so very tiny, I can't imagine it's lasting even one month! The active ingredient is Carmellose 0.5%. I see that some drops offer 1% Carmellose. I would like to experiment with those. One of the problems I have with eye drops is that it can be challenging to get the drops out of the bottle in to my eyes. The "Comfort" bottle is not particularly easy to use. I would rate it mid range, as in the past I have been obliged to give up completely on some other brands because I just couldn't get the drops in safely (without jabbing my poor eye!) Single use tiny plastic bottles make insertion easier, but the amount of plastic waste they represent is worrying. My verdict: If you have a short-term problem, this little bottle could be a wonderful, soothing resource. If, like mine, your problem is chronic, you might want to seek out drops that are as helpful (look for Carmellose and "preservative-free") but more abundant and less expensive.

Soothed my dry eyes
This has a long expiry date on it, the drops themselves were cooling and soothing for my tired really dry itchy eyes. The nozzle is quite little so I ended using a little more than I needed. But that was ok, the product worked and felt more soothing than my usual eye drops. Will definitely use these again.

Not so easy to administer, but the results are good
My eyes take a real beating on a daily basis due to my day job of sitting at a computer all day. These drops provide good, lasting relief... and are OK with my contact lenses or with my glasses. The real complaint for me is the administration - I find it really hard to successfully squeeze the right amount out... and it's quite frustrating as I think more often than not I am over-administrating these!Overall, a good product, let down by the horrible method of getting drops out!

Cooling Relief
It's a small bottle which can be used up to three months from opening.I find it difficult to use eye drops, and these are no exception. But when they go in they are immediately cooling on the eye. They make my eyes feel nice and less dry. They work better than a different brand I have used.

Helpful
I used them for the first time yesterday and they brought quite an instantaneous help to my dry eyes. I will buy them again. 5/5

Does the trick.
Very handy eye drops that are ideal for combatting the dry eyes that can come about after prolonged keyboard use. Most others on the market have a 'do not use after 28 days' warning on the label. This one, by way of contrast, advises to use it all within 3-months, thus giving it a clear advantage over the likes of Optrex etc. In addition, the drops actually worked and made the need to rub ones eye disappear. I personally use Opticrom drops for hay fever but these are handy for other use as well, such as in the winter.

Great for scratchy eyes
I get tired dry eyes if I don't sleep well, and these are great to help with lubricating. Two drops does the trick. Clear bottle so you can see how much is left. Good price.

Hard to administer, doesn't seem to have an effect
I like the lid that just pulls off, and the squeeze dropper design seems like it should work well. However, I find it very difficult to get a couple of drops out. I'm not particularly weak, but I find I need to squeeze the bottle quite a bit to get anything to come out; and I already find it difficult enough concentrating to keep my eye open and keep the dropper directly above my eye.Once I've put this in my eyes, I also find that is doesn't seem to have any effect. I can't speak for others, but for me, it might as well be water. I do get itchy dry eyes a decent amount, and I've used other eye drops that do help quite a bit.Overall, not impressed.
