Better than generic equivalents
These plates last around 100 hours of sanding but cheaper ones last less than half that, and come apart during use! This OEM version is what you need. It is better than average in every way, and lasts well.

It melted
After a bit of use the pad melted and no longer gripped the sandpaper.

Failed after 5 minutes
The Worx Sonicrafter does most things well but I am unable to recommend it for sanding. Much like other negative reviews here, mine failed after 5 minutes when I was sanding some oak. The velcro pad attachment overheated and melted. £16 for 5 minutes = not cost-effective.I will no longer use this tool for sanding.
