Burg-Wachter MB04 White Grand Wall Mounted Galvanised Steel Lockable Weatherproof Post Box - 33x45x15cm

Having an older house means a smaller letterbox and a hardwood door. With everything becoming online and home delivery I chose this as an alternative to damaging the front door trying to make the letterbox larger.On the whole it works ok although the wire that holds the lid hinge did slide out and it is a little flimsy, j can't comment on how water tight it is as it's mounted in a porch but it serves a purpose.

Looks smart, holds large envelope. It does let water in when it rains though.

A good size. Only given 3 stars as I think it could have been made from thicker metal. Not that sturdy. It does come fully assembled though.

My old metal mail box was too small for the bigger envelopes to easily fit in. My paper will now fit into my new box so I don’t have to worry about my gate being left open and my dogs getting out !My box is just inside my gate so things can easily be posted and it’s kept secure and dry. I am very pleased with my post box.Thank you.

Bought as the Burg Wachter parent company products seen were great. Would have bought one too, except this model was what I wanted for size - and for £40 expected a lot better.Metal is flimsy (arrived with a dent too) and feel the downwards opening door flap is going to warp each time its opened.The lock is the worst - feels like some sort of plastic composite not even metal - it's a trial to get the key in every time and as a result it's scratched and looks poor after no time up.Wonder how long it will last - but won't buy from the Sterling range again!

It is very good dose what it says a 'Post Box'. The only problem was the lid isn't sqaure on the box so rattles, I put a small rubber bung under the lid and it is fine. But it is a good metal box and I would recommed it and give 5 stars.

Very unhappy!! We have put the box up on our wall but everytime it rains, the box leaks (don't know where from) and our post gets sopping wet! Unfortunately, we have put it up, and thrown the box it came in away, so cannot return it, but wish I could, as it is definitely not going to be much use in the winter!!

Very robust box and easy to install.Big enough for magazines and newspapers. Very happy with it.
