Insidious: The Red Door - Blu-ray + Digital

One of my favorite movies! Absolulty loved it in its entirety. I would definitely recommend any and all who love scary movies to watch it!

Loved this horror purchase

I liked it but not as much as the other ones. I thought it went a little slow.

I have been a huge Insidious film franchise fan up to this point. I really loved each film 1-4. Leigh Whinnell did a decent job writing and producing this finale. The problem arises with the fake-woke Patrick Wilson who once claimed that 1,000 black men are gunned down by police every year (the actual number is to 5-7. While white men are gunned down nearly 3 times as much at 27 - 31). After Patrick Wilson and actress Vera Farmiga made erroneous statements regarding this narrative during that time and both live miles out in the country far away from people in general. Which cost The Conjuring Films a good part of their fan base. The Red Door wanted to be sure that you know that this film cast is Inclusive and Diverse with huge lettering at the end roll credits. Getting into the plot - there are many holes in the story such as the vomit man who we never hear his story or why he is important. Or what happened to Lorraine Lambert (Josh's Mother)? Clearly she died younger than she should have. I also feel that actress Sinclair Daniel was only in the film to showcase a diversity/ inclusion. Why not give her a better role in the film. I think she could have provided a lot more substance than just being the black woman in the film. Then we have the fraternity brothers - clearly ultra gay and at the same time trying to portray Chads is laughable! We never really touch on why Josh and Renai are separated. We know there are hints of the possession of Josh in an earlier film but we never get the backstory in detail of the separation. What about Specs and Tucker? Where are they in all of this? And the fan favorite Elise? She is good to show up at the end but not good enough to appear in The Further to help. Why wasn't Lorraine in any part of the film? Insidious - The Red Door really comes across as a cash grab and less like an actual horror film.
