Almost Perfect - I give it 4.9 stars.
Great battery at a good price. I'm glad I got the version that has Bluetooth as my trolling motor don't have the ability to accurately display the charge levels on LiPo batteries. I chose the 100 amp hour battery and it should give me about 6 hours of runtime on my 46 lb trolling motor running between 40-60%. I haven't tried it on the water yet, however, I did run the motor inside a large trash can filled with water and testing was excellent. It was during my tests that I discovered I HAD to make use of the Bluetooth as my motor kept displaying 100% charged. I am incredibly impressed with the Bluetooth as the app is super easy to use and set up and provides all the pertinent information including anticipated runtime based on the current discharge rate. FYI: The App you use is GOLDENMATE. I'm not sure why this information isn't included in the description and Amazon's Rufis couldn't find this information. This made it necessary to contact their Customer Service and within a short time, I was chatting with one of their representatives on a Saturday evening. (24/7 is their support which is awesome!) Another nice feature about the app is that it not only shows expected runtime, but also expected charge time as well based on rate of charge. YES, you DO want to use a charger designed to work with LiPo batteries. These (types) of batteries are extremely light compared to lead acid batteries and have a much longer lifespan as well. The only thing not perfect with the battery I got is that one of the clips for the battery strap was broken so I cannot use the strap. In my case, the battery will be kept inside a rain proof battery box (container) so I can lift it with the handles on the container. My Use: This battery will be the main source of power for my 10' Intex Mariner 4 inflatable dinghy with 46 lb trolling motor. When my little (project) boat is complete, it will have carpeted wood floors, Bimini top, carpeted bow & stern storage areas, bow & stern cleats for anchor lines, 2 rolling, swivel fold down seats, rod holders, running lights, interior lights, storage for tools, mini cooler, tackle box, and life jackets. I may also rig up a clear tarp to attach to the front of the Bimini top and bow of the boat for additional protection from rain. (I live in Florida which means frequent scattered showers and of course, 100% humidity!) In summary, I was a bit disappointed with the strap tab being broken, but the excellent 24/7 customer support and the very helpful app made up for this one little flaw.

Decent capacity, lightweight, works great for multiple uses.
Decent capacity, lightweight, works great for multiple uses, when paired with a battery box works great for camping and running a small inverter. Good value for price/capcacity, Battery is well made and ha sturdy connections. Simple to setup and add to backup power supply.

Holds charge. Lasts a long time
Perfect for my camper trailer. Survived 3 days without a charge. Being able to check the power level is very convenient

Short life but great customer service
Review update: Update: gold mate service was very responsive, quick answer emails , had me run some tests and send photos. Still not sure what was wrong but worked with me and ended up refunding my purchase. I am happy to say that they stand behind there product 100%. Hard to find that in a company these days. The 12v 30ah battery Worked great for first 6 months. Used it for my live scope setup. Originally battery lasted well over 8 hours. Unfortunately now battery is less then a year old and at full charge only last about 4 hours. It was slightly less expensive then other brands but not cheap enough to buy a new one ever year. I emailed goldenmate. Says it has a ten year warranty we will see how that works out for me. (Note this was the regular 30ah battery not the newer style waterproof version). Not sure if they still sell this plain version.

good
Have had it about a year, probably at about 25 cycles on it. Use it mostly for a trolling motor on a kayak. Can run for hours at full throttle will no loss of power. Also handy to use for other 12v needs. Super light so makes it easy to use. Only gripe is it's difficult to know the state of charge. I just know my motor draws 10amps so I have about 5hours run time. Same goes for charging, you just keep charging it until the internal computer won't take a charge anymore. Helps to have an intelligent charger so you can keep track of how much you think you used vs how much went back in. Lots of batteries out there but this seems to be a good brand.

Battery has failed within 2 months.
I purchased a Golden Mate battery expecting reliable performance, but unfortunately, it failed prematurely. After some use, the battery completely stopped outputting 12V. Upon inspection, I discovered that cell number 4 had died and was producing 0 volts, effectively rendering the entire battery non-functional. Attempts to recharge it were unsuccessful the battery won’t take a charge at all, likely due to the imbalance caused by the failed cell. It’s extremely disappointing for a battery that should be built to last, especially since it’s marketed for off-grid and critical backup use. I expected more durability and quality control. If you’re depending on this battery for any mission critical application, I’d recommend looking elsewhere or at the very least, keeping a close eye on cell voltages with a BMS or external monitor. Support has ignored my emails or is backed up with support tickets. Purchased 2 months ago. Update: Since the battery was charged and put aside after receipt, this means that the battery was normal when received, but was damaged after being put aside. The current battery storage environment is very humid. Analysis shows that improper storage has caused corrosion and damage to the battery pack components and made it unable to charge. Apparently having the battery inside a garage isnt proper storage.

Great batteries for the price
These have been awesome and are about a third of the price of higher end batteries. I’ve been on around 10 trips now and depending on the weather they last for hours. I run a 36v Rhodan on my 27 Gamefish and have had all conditions so far, wind and high swell. In rough conditions they lasted about 4 hours, and on calm days they lasted close to 8 hours and kept me on the spot. I have had no power surges and they work fine with my fuse. They charge fast and are back to full in about 2 to 3 hours with my charger. The pic is from when I was about done installing, but that charger is what I use. I mounted them on a starboard platform I built under the T top console next to the toilet and it was easy to install. One thing I will say is the orange caps provided do not really cover the terminals, but I am not worried about that.

Replaces the Lead-Acid House Batteries in my RV
Took out the two Group 24 RV batteries in my RV and installed this. It's lighter, longer-lived, and has more capacity considering that it can be discharged much deeper than a lead-acid battery before the voltage drops too low. With a 255-watt solar panel on the roof and an MPPT charge controller in lithium battery mode, I never need to run the generator, which is a good thing since lithium batteries are not designed for the cranking amps to start a gasoline engine. And if you don't use a solar charge controller to keep your lithium battery charged you must do something about your rig's converter and alternator which don't get along well with lithium batteries. On shore power the converter will cut out before the battery is fully charged if it's not lithium-aware, and on the road the battery may pull too much power from the engine's alternator if it's very low on charge.
