It will lower the pH in your aquarium. Start with small amounts and monitor how the water chemistry changes.Its a natural product so it cant be precisely measured. generally it does what it's supposed to.

The only problem with this product is nobody seems to know how much to use. After some trial and error I hit upon what is, for me, the correct amount 20% of the packet. This reduced the ph in my aquarium to near the correct level. I did not want it to reduce too quickly as I did not want to stress my fish. I have tried catappa leaves but they work too slowly. I would buy this product again when needed.

Perfect to low the PH

All good, on the beginning releases a lot of small particles, but settles with time. Was washed before use a lot, particles ware coming out of provided bag for about 1 month. After that no issues. Still works nice with water that is prepared for water changes and helps with pH.

I have used this product after many years of using carbon i would not go back this product with Fluval clearmax work superbly and control the ph and water very well as i live in an area where the water comes out at over 8.0,you just have to work out how much you need by measuring the ph over a few days and it settles nice and slowly,a very good product,

might temporarily bring PH down but will drastically colour the water to brown and needs to be replaced on regular basis so do not recommend
